  • Patent number: 11665754
Abstract: The present invention introduces a system, which comprises a telecommunication network structure, which can be called as an intelligent combination of Push-To-Talk (i.e. Direct Mode Operation, DMO) communication technique and cellular network application. The DMO can be set as a preferred choice if it is available. The subscriber devices retransmit (i.e. forward) the data message further until the message reaches the called subscriber terminal. The total cumulative hop between subscriber terminals may comprise both DMO-based hops and cellular connections. ID means are provided, and telemetric information can be sent from the terminals. The invention allows emergency information submissions from the terminals, and forced broadcast information from an administrator to the terminals as well. Dynamic Talk Groups (DTG) can be defined based on geographic locations on each registered user.

  • Patent number: 11632670
Abstract: Handling of UE capability information in a mobile telecommunications network wherein an eNodeB receives information regarding the UE capability information from the UE and stores the information. The eNodeB sends the UE capability information to the EPC, i.e., to an MME, which receives and stores the UE capability information. When the UE transits from idle to active state, does an initial attach, or when a part of the UE capabilities have changed, it sends a message to the eNodeB regarding the update. The eNodeB forwards the message to the MME, which sends a response associated with the previously stored UE capability information to the eNodeB. The eNodeB decides whether the UE capabilities stored in the MME is up-to-date based on the message from the UE and the response from the MME. If the UE holds updated UE capabilities the eNodeB can request updated UE capability information from the UE.

  • Patent number: 11627510
Abstract: This application provides a data processing method and apparatus, and a computer storage medium. When a PDCP entity over a UM DRB is re-established, or when a cell handover occurs and the PDCP entity over a UM DRB uses a key used before the handover, the PDCP entity determines a first SDU, where the first SDU is an SDU that is associated with a sequence number by the PDCP entity but whose corresponding data has not been transmitted through an air interface; and delivers a PDU corresponding to the first SDU to an RLC entity. Data corresponding to the first SDU is redelivered, to avoid a data packet loss caused by preprocessing of the PDCP entity.

  • Patent number: 11627086
Abstract: In one embodiment, an offload platform is an compute platform, adjunct to a router or other packet switching device, that performs packet processing operations including determining an egress forwarding value corresponding to the next-hop node of the packet switching device to which to send an offload-platform processed packet. The offload platform downloads forwarding information from the router, and augments it, such as, but not limited to, representing interfaces of the router as identifiable virtual interface(s) on the offload platform, and including each of one or more next-hop nodes of the router represented as an identifiable virtual adjacency and identifiable tunnel (e.g., identified by the egress forwarding value). In one embodiment, the egress forwarding value is an Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) label or Segment Routing Identifier. The router identifies packets of certain packet flows to send to the adjunct offload platform, rather than processing per its routing information base.

  • Patent number: 11616581
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive signaling from a base station that includes an indication of a configuration for measuring cross-link interference (CLI) and an indication of a reference subcarrier spacing (SCS). The configuration may be associated with a slot having more than 14 symbols and may indicate a resource allocation that includes a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource, a CLI resource, or both. • Patent number: 11611957
Abstract: An eNodeB (eNB), user equipment (UE) and method of providing a flexible Radio Access Technology (FRAT) are generally described. The information (resource allocation, partition information and numerology) of at least one of a plurality of RATs used by the eNB is provided to a UE. Each RAT has a flexible subcarrier spacing and symbol duration, which are integer multiples of a base subcarrier spacing and symbol duration, and is associated with at least one of different temporal and frequency resources. The symbol and/or frame structure of each RAT are independent. A Transmission Time Interval (TTI) boundary between the RATs is common, and the RATs comprise a common reference TTI duration. The information of the RATs is provided either via a different RAT than the RAT used by the UE for communication or via a dedicated carrier in the RAT used by the UE for communication.

  • Patent number: 11611983
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) to provide hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for multiple physical channels (e.g., multiple physical downlink shared channels (PDSCH)) scheduled via cross component carrier. The UE may monitor control channel occasions, to receive wireless communications from a base station. For example, the UE may receive downlink control information (DCI) messages that may schedule multiple PDSCH over different component carriers. The DCI messages may include an indication of a timing offset for HARQ feedback for the multiple PDSCH. In some examples, the UE may be configured to receive multiple DCI messages and order the DCI messages based on component carrier indices or a PDCCH occasion, or both. The UE may then determine a slot to transmit HARQ feedback for the multiple PDSCH based on an indication in a latest DCI message identified according to the ordering.

  • Patent number: 11601895
Abstract: A method and apparatus provides for receiving an indication of an uplink resource allocation of resource blocks for a transmission on a master cell group. An indication is received of an uplink resource allocation of resource blocks for a transmission on a secondary cell group. A total additional maximum power reduction is determined based on the indication of the uplink resource allocation of the resource blocks for the transmission on the master cell group and the indication of the uplink resource allocation of the resource blocks for the transmission on the secondary cell group. A remaining power is determined for the secondary cell group by reducing a signaled maximum dual-carrier power by the total additional maximum power reduction and subtracting a configured master cell group power. A secondary cell group additional maximum power reduction is determined as the difference between a signaled maximum secondary cell group power and the remaining power for the secondary cell group.
