  • Publication number: 20230083391
Abstract: A pressure-testing system for a tubular product. Preferably, the tubular product is a joint or a stand of production tubing. The pressure testing assembly includes a controller; a fluid reservoir configured to contain a test fluid; a pump in fluid communication with the fluid reservoir; a fluid hose having a first end configured to receive the test fluid from the reservoir, and a second end configured to be fluidically connected to a hydrotest tool for the tubular product; and a transducer. The transducer sends signals to the controller indicative of pressure within the fluid hose. The controller is programmed to automatically (i) store a pressure threshold value (T) and (ii) store a pressure test value (PT) such that when pressure in the fluid hose reaches (T) or when pressure in the fluid hose reaches (PT), the controller sends a signal to a diverter to divert a direction of fluid being pumped so that fluid is no longer pumped into tubular product.

  • Patent number: 11518726
Abstract: Provided is a process for the preparation of certain 1,4-bicyclo[2.2.2]octane derivatives. The new synthetic procedure involves treating 1,4-dimethylene cyclohexane with an oxidizing agent in the presence of a transition metal catalyst to afford an oxo-substituted bicyclo[2.2.2]octane species. This intermediate structure can then be further derivatized. The processes of this disclosure thus affords a novel and simplified means for the commercial production of a wide variety of bicyclo[2.2.2]octane derivatives.

  • Publication number: 20220350991
Abstract: A row vision system modifies automated operation of a vehicle based on edges detected between surfaces in the environment in which the vehicle travels. The vehicle may be a farming vehicle (e.g., a tractor) that operates using automated steering to perform farming operations that track an edge formed by a row of field work completed next to the unworked field area. A row vision system may access images of the field ahead of the tractor and apply models that identify surface types and detect edges between the identified surfaces (e.g., between worked and unworked ground). Using the detected edges, the system determines navigation instructions that modify the automated steering (e.g., direction) to minimize the error between current and desired headings of the vehicle, enabling the tractor to track the row of crops, edge of field, or edge of field work completed.
