  • Publication number: 20190139591
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for preventing disturb of untargeted memory cells during repeated access operations of target memory cells are described for a non-volatile memory array. Multiple memory cells may be in electronic communication with a common conductive line, and each memory cell may have an electrically non-linear selection component. Following an access operation (e.g., a read or write operation) of a target memory cell, untargeted memory cells may be discharged by applying a discharge voltage to the common conductive line. The discharge voltage may, for example, have a polarity opposite to the access voltage. In other examples, a delay may be instituted between access attempts in order to discharge the untargeted memory cells.

  • Publication number: 20190140373
Abstract: An input/output device includes a terminal base to be mounted to a structure. A terminal block is connected to the terminal base and includes wiring terminals to be connected to I/O field wiring. A latch body is connected to the terminal block. The latch body is manually movable between an unlatched position and a latched position. An input/output module is connected to the terminal base adjacent the terminal block and includes a locking tab. The latch body, when in the latched position, engages the locking tab and captures the input/output module to the terminal block. The terminal block includes first and second module retaining rails or projections that engage respective slots of the input/output module to restrain the module relative to the terminal base. The terminal base includes first and second notches that receive inner ends of the first and second module retaining projections to rigidify the terminal base.

  • Publication number: 20190138417
Abstract: A computer with cached pre-assembled device configurations for a faster and more reliable user experience. Pre-assembled device configurations may be obtained in a variety of ways, for example, by pre-processing installation information obtained from driver packages, or by being retrieved from a suitable source. Pre-processing driver packages may involve, for example, copying binary files to their run-time locations and computing settings for the device and driver. The pre-processed device configuration settings may be cached and indexed in a database. When a device connects to the computer, a cached device configuration may be applied to the device without performing a full installation process. Pre-assembly of device configurations may be performed before a device first connects to the computer, for example, upon detecting an applicable driver or during manufacture of the computer, and is not restricted to being performed on the same computer on which the device configuration will be used.

  • Publication number: 20190141027
Abstract: Disclosed are various examples for providing a single sign-on experience for mobile applications that may or may not be managed. A first application executed in a client device sends an access request to a service provider. The first application receives a redirection response from the service provider that redirects the first application to an identity provider. The first application then receives a further redirection response from the identity provider that causes the first application to request an identity assertion from a second application executed in the client device. The first application receives the identity assertion from the second application. The first authentication then authenticates with the service provider using the identity assertion.

  • Publication number: 20190138394
Abstract: A method of rebuilding data stored as encoded data slices in a dispersed storage network (DSN) includes obtaining, by a rebuilding module implemented in a processing device, an identity of a plurality slices-in-error to be rebuilt, wherein each individual slice-in-error is associated with index information specifying: a particular dispersed storage unit associated with the individual slice-in-error; and a number of slices-in-error associated with the particular dispersed storage unit. A first slice-in-error is selected for rebuilding based, at least in part, on the number of slices-in-error associated with a first dispersed storage unit associated with the first slice-in-error. Read slice requests at least a decode threshold number of data slices are issued to the first dispersed storage unit. At least a decode threshold number of slices are received at the rebuilding module, which rebuilds the first slice-in-error using the received slices.

  • Patent number: 10284834
Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for displaying a combined image based on a cost function. In use, two or more source images are loaded and a first blend weight is initiated associated with the two or more source images. Next, a first combined image from the two or more source images and a cost function for the first combined image is computed. It is determined whether the cost function is substantially minimized, wherein if the cost function is not substantially minimized, the first blend weight is updated to substantially minimize the cost function, the first combined image is updated based on the updated first blend weight, and the user interface element associated with the updated first combined image is updated. A display then displays the first combined image based on the first blend weight and a user interface element associated with the first combined image. Additional systems, methods, and computer program products are also presented.
