  • Publication number: 20230015687
Abstract: Techniques for using computer networking protocol extensions to route control-plane traffic and data-plane traffic associated with a common application are described herein. For instance, a traffic flow associated with an application may be established such that control-plane traffic is sent to a control-plane node associated with the application and data-plane traffic is sent to a data-plane node associated with the application. When a client device sends an authentication request to connect to the application, the control-plane node may send an indication of a hostname to be used by the client device to send data-plane traffic to the data-node. As such, when a packet including the hostname corresponding with the data-plane node is received, the packet may be forwarded to the data-plane node.

  • Publication number: 20230013211
Abstract: The present application relates to communications between a partner network and a wide area network (WAN) via the Internet. The WAN advertises unicast border gateway protocol (BGP) address prefixes for a plurality of front-end devices in the WAN. An agent in the partner network measures a plurality of paths to a service within the WAN. Each of the plurality of paths is associated with one of the plurality of front-end devices and a respective unicast BGP address prefix. The agent provides measurements of the plurality of paths to the WAN. The WAN selects a path within the WAN for the service. The agent receives a routing rule specifying a unicast address prefix for a selected device of the plurality of front-end devices of the WAN. The agent forwards data packets for the service to the respective border gateway protocol address prefix of the selected device via the Internet.

  • Publication number: 20230018685
Abstract: The present application relates to communications between a partner network and a wide area network (WAN) via the Internet. Although Internet service providers may act as autonomous systems, the WAN may control routing from the partner network by advertising unicast border gateway protocol (BGP) address prefixes for a plurality of front-end devices in the WAN. An agent in the partner network measures a plurality of paths to a service within the WAN. Each of the plurality of paths is associated with one of the plurality of front-end devices and a respective unicast BGP address prefix. The WAN selects a path within the WAN for the service. The WAN exports a routing rule to the agent. The agent forwards data packets for the service to the respective BGP address prefix via the Internet. The WAN receives data packets for the service of the partner network at the selected device.

  • Publication number: 20230013844
Abstract: In illustrative embodiments, systems and methods are disclosed by which keystroke data may be securely delivered to an application executing on a computer. The keystroke data may traverse an atypical data path to the memory space of the application, and may be encrypted along its traversal of such data path, and my further be encrypted when it is delivered into the memory space of the application. The system may include a filter driver that is arranged in a driver stack with a keyboard device driver that ordinarily interacts with the keyboard, and the filter driver may receive keystroke data from the keyboard device driver, encrypt such data, and provide such encrypted data to a body of software instruction that it injected into the memory space of the application. The body of software instructions may, in turn, decrypt the encrypted data and provide the decrypted data to the application.

  • Publication number: 20230014837
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for providing a notification that a person is at a particular location. For example, a resident device may receive from a user device an image that shows a face of a first person, the image being captured by a first camera of the user device. The resident device may also receive, from another device having a second camera, a second image showing a portion of a face of a second person, the second camera having a viewable area showing a particular location. The resident device may determine a score indicating a level of similarity between a first set of characteristics associated with the face of the first person and a second set of characteristics associated with the face of a second person. The resident device may then provide to the user device a notification based on determining the score.

  • Publication number: 20230012517
Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards operating a user equipment node as a scheduler user equipment (e.g., which can be a local manager of other nodes in a group). The scheduler user equipment receives a scheduling request for the scheduling of the resources for transmission of data by a transmitter user equipment, and based on the traffic type requested, schedules the transmitter user equipment and receiver user equipment(s) with scheduling data / allocated radio resources. The transmitter user equipment can directly transmit to the receiver user equipment(s) on the allocated radio resources, e.g., without further involvement of the scheduler user equipment / local manager. For cellular data, the scheduler user equipment can schedule the transmitter user equipment to transmit to the scheduler user equipment as a receiver node.
