  • Publication number: 20190247748
Abstract: According to other aspects, a real-time system may be provided that is capable of scaling to hundreds of thousands of real-time clients (or more) to conduct a single-program instance in an interactive manner that combines video elements with interactive program elements. To provide such capabilities, a system and client software is provided that allows real-time distribution of video, and scripted rendering of interactive elements in relation to the video. Such systems may include, for example, cluster-based systems that are capable of scaling horizontally based on the number of clients involved in a particular program instance.

  • Publication number: 20190250878
Abstract: A remote control has a physical subsystem and a graphical subsystem. The physical subsystem has a hardware command processor and one or more physical input devices. The hardware command processor determines an input for an audio command based on activation of the one or more physical input devices. Further, the hardware command processor translates the audio command into a format understood by an audio monitoring system. In addition, the hardware command processor sends the translated audio command to the audio monitoring system so that the audio monitoring system adjusts one or more audio output devices based on the audio command. The audio monitoring system is remotely situated from the physical subsystem. Further, the graphical subsystem has a display screen and a display processor rendering a graphical user interface on the display screen.

  • Publication number: 20190253605
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system that includes a camera, a shadow device that mimics, copies, or duplicates the properties of the camera, and a controller. The controller can be located in the same vicinity as the shadow device, where the camera is in a remote location. An operator can receive feedback that mimics what they would be experiencing if they were operating the camera directly. The controller then manipulates the remote camera based on the input from the operator. The system of the present disclosure allows for a camera operator to be in a remote location, and it still provides accurate, real-time feedback to the operator. Unlike current systems, the present system provides instantaneous or near-instantaneous feedback for cameras in remote locations.
