Abstract: A gas removal system includes an interior baffle with an outside surface having flow channels and a central fluid receiving chamber. A membrane fiber bundle with an inside surface is placed outwardly of the interior baffle. The member fiber bundle is formed of fibers that allow the passage of gas through an outer wall, but resist the passage of fluid with the inside surface of the fiber bundle partially contacting the outside surface of the baffle. The interior baffle and the fiber bundle extend between axial ends. A changed diameter portion is intermediate the axial ends wherein each of the outside surface of the interior baffle and the inside surface of the membrane fiber bundle change in diameter in a first direction and then return in a second direction changing diameter in an opposite radial direction from the first direction, and such that the changed diameter portion is intermediate the axial ends. A fuel system is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20240324155
Abstract: A shield can for an electronic eyewear device is described that reduces RF signals emanating from the electronic eyewear device. The shield can is attached to a ground plate of the electronic eyewear device using leaf springs on a side of the shield can. The leaf springs do not add to the stack-up thickness of the shield can assembly and provide a balanced force against the ground plate. The shield can is attached to a printed circuit board and encompasses radio frequency (RF) electronic components to prevent RF signals emanating from the RF electronic components. The leaf springs have a pair of fingers providing the balanced mechanical point force. A conductive pressure sensitive adhesive is also provided to secure a top surface of the shield can to the ground plate along with a thermal paste.

  • Publication number: 20240320893
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to lightweight calling among users with avatar animation. A lightweight call can be a user-to-user interaction between users. For example, each users' system can stream lightweight call data to the other user system and output the lightweight call data. In some implementations, the output includes displaying animated avatar(s) and audio data for the lightweight call. For example, the streamed lightweight call data for a first user system can include avatar animation data for an avatar that represents that first user and audio data captured via microphone(s) of the first user system. A second user system can output the avatar animation data as an animated avatar and the corresponding audio data. Implementations of the lightweight call can be displayed via a lightweight call panel that includes side-by-side animated avatars representative of the call participants.
