  • Patent number: 11783285
Abstract: Yard management systems and methods are described. A yard management system comprises a database holding load information, a mobile application associated with a user account and executable on a mobile device. The mobile application when executed acquires the identifications of the load, queries the database for the load information, and generates a machine-readable representation corresponding to the identifications of the load, an autonomous yard vehicle configured to mechanically couple with a cargo trailer. The system further comprises a computing system programmed to, in response to detecting the mobile device at the transfer location, navigate to the cargo trailer and guide the coupling between the autonomous yard vehicle and the cargo trailer.

  • Publication number: 20230036585
Abstract: The present invention relates to the discovery that the expression levels of some RNA molecules, comprising messenger RNA (mRNA), non-coding RNA (ncRNA) and/or microRNA (miRNA), and protein can be used as a diagnostic signature to predict or monitor the bone healing ability in an acutely injured subject or in a chronic nonunion subject. In certain embodiments, the invention relates to methods and compositions useful for differentiating between a nonunion, slow healing, and/or normal healing of a fractured bone and treatment recommendations. The invention further includes a kit comprising biomarker probes for assessing the bone healing ability in an acutely injured subject or in a nonunion subject after receiving therapeutic treatment.

  • Patent number: 11499015
Abstract: The present invention relates to processes for making macromolecular networks, macromolecular networks made by such processes, and methods of using such macromolecular networks to make materials such as ceramics. The macromolecular network's formation rate is controlled by using two species of reactants each of which comprised one functionality. This results in decreased macromolecular network processing costs and superior products.

  • Patent number: 11046994
Abstract: A novel method for isolating DNA from juices and ciders is described. This method is low cost and yield large quantities of highly purified DNA even though one uses a small quantity of juice or cider. A method for determining if a juice or cider is safe to consume and/or the quality of the juice or cider are also described. For these methods, one can perform qPCR on the DNA which can be obtained using the disclosed method or any other prior art method, and comparing the amount of DNA from microorganisms is present in the juice and/or cider to determine the safety and/or quality of the juice and/or cider. These methods work even if the liquid was pasteurized.
