The systems and methods may use information from radar, lidar, a camera or vision/image devices, ultrasonic sensors, and digital map data to determine a route or roadway position and provide for steering, braking, and acceleration control of a host vehicle.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate generally to controlling an autonomous vehicle in a variety of unique circumstances. These include adapting control strategies of the vehicle based on discrepancies between map data and sensor data obtained by the vehicle. These further include adapting position and routing strategies for the vehicle based on changes in the environment and traffic conditions. Other aspects of the disclosure relate to using vehicular sensor data to update hazard information on a centralized map database. Other aspects of the disclosure relate to using sensors independent of the vehicle to compensate for blind spots in the field of view of the vehicular sensors. Other aspects of the disclosure involve communication with other vehicles to indicate that the autonomous vehicle is not under human control, or to give signals to other vehicles about the intended behavior of the autonomous vehicle.

Abstract: Various embodiments of a handheld stimulator system is described that is configured to provide a stimulation to nasal tissue of a subject. In some embodiments, the handheld stimulator system includes a stimulator probe and a stimulator body, and the stimulator probe may be configured to releasably couple to the stimulator body. The stimulator probe may include a first nasal insertion prong comprising a first electrode and a tag of an RFID control mechanism that is configured to control a use of the stimulator probe. In some embodiments, the stimulator body may include a power source and a reader of the RFID control mechanism. The reader may be configured to communicate with the tag for assisting with controlling the use of the stimulator probe. Systems and method associated with the handheld stimulator system are also described.

Abstract: Various embodiments of a nasal stimulator probe is described that is configured to assist with providing a stimulation to nasal tissue of a subject. In some embodiments, the nasal stimulator probe is configured to releasably couple to a stimulator body including a power source. The stimulator probe may include a first extension of a first nasal insertion prong configured for insertion into a nasal cavity. Additionally, the stimulator probe may include a first electrode configured to provide the stimulation and coupled to a distal end of the first extension. In addition, the first electrode may include a conductive plastic material. Systems and method associated with the nasal stimulator probe are also described.

Abstract: A fired hybrid enamel coating is provided. The hybrid enamel coating is formed by firing an enamel composition on a substrate. The enamel composition includes at least a first glass frit, which is sintered to form the hybrid enamel coating. The hybrid enamel coating can be cleaned using aqualytic or pyrolytic cleaning methods, and does not discolor or lose gloss when subject to typical pyrolytic cleaning methods. The hybrid enamel coating does not require the application of highly caustic cleaners to remove the baked-on soils.
