  • Publication number: 20240169073
Abstract: A storage enclosure of an information handling system includes multiple storage drives, and an expander device. The storage drives include one or more self-encrypting drives (SEDs). The expander device determines whether a SED enables a power disable capability. In response to detection that the SED enables the power disable capability, the expander device monitors a link status between the information handling system and the storage enclosure. In response to a link status change being detected, the expander device waits a period of time and determines the link status after the period of time. If the link status is link down, the expander device implements a power cycle in the storage drives. After the power cycle of the storage drives, the expander device sets the drives to a locked state.

  • Patent number: 11985258
Abstract: Systems and methods provide validation of hardware components of an IHS (Information Handling System). An attestation certificate stored to the IHS specifies authenticated instructions for operation of a hardware component of the IHS. This attestation certificate is endorsed by a self-signed root attestation certificate. An identity certificate, also stored to the IHS, specifies an identity of the hardware component and is endorsed using an embedded keypair of the hardware component. The root attestation certificate is validated to ensure it corresponds to the hardware component specified in the identity certificate, where this validation confirms that a public key included in the identity certificate is identical to a public key included in the attestation certificate.

  • Publication number: 20240155163
Abstract: Systems and methods are described to dynamically generate metadata for a live media stream. The system determines that a first user on a social media network has started a live media stream. In response, the system identifies a topic of the live media stream based on a frame of the live media stream and identifies another person featured in the frame of the live media stream based on social connections of the first user in the social media network. The system then generates a title for the live media stream based on the identified topic and the identified person, and transmits a notification to a second user that the first user is streaming live, where the notification includes the generated title.

  • Patent number: 11978666
Abstract: Provided herein are methods of depositing low stress and void free metal films in deep features and related apparatus. Embodiments of the methods include treating the sidewalls of the holes to inhibit metal deposition while leaving the feature bottom untreated. In subsequent deposition operations, metal precursor molecules diffuse to the feature bottom for deposition. The process is repeated with subsequent inhibition operations treating the remaining exposed sidewalls. By repeating inhibition and deposition operations, high quality void free fill can be achieved. This allows high temperature, low stress deposition to be performed.

  • Publication number: 20240143150
Abstract: Systems and methods are presented for populating content item metadata are described herein. The system receives a content item. The system then receives at the user device selections of identifier tags that are indicative of the source or context of the content item. The system updates at the server the content item along with the metadata and stores it for retrieval. In response to the user device receiving a second content item determined to be the same as the first content item, the system replaces the second content item with a link to the first content item. Once a user interaction with the link is detected, the system may follow the link to generate for display the content item.

  • Patent number: 11968425
Abstract: In systems and methods for enhancing group watch experiences, a first user's reaction is detected using multiple sensors, e.g., at least one camera and a microphone, and may be combined with context information to determine an action to perform at user equipment devices of other users participating in the group watch to convey the first user's reaction. Images from the at least one camera can be used to determine a portion of the screen to which the user's reaction is directed and/or another user to whom the reaction is directed. The reaction may be conveyed using one or more of an audio effect, a visual effect, haptic effect or text, e.g., to highlight the determined portion or user, display an icon and/or output an audio or video clip. A signal for providing haptic feedback may be transmitted to the user equipment device of the determined user.

Abstract: Provided is a threaded pipe having a pin member connecting to a box member. The pin member contains wedge-shaped pin threads that extends in a helical direction around the outside surface of its pipe end. The pin member is tapered to result in an increasing diameter of the pin threads away from the front end of its pipe. The box member contains a wedge-shaped box thread that stretches in a helical direction around the inside surface of its pipe end. The box member is tapered to result in a decreasing diameter of the box threads away from the front end of its pipe. The pin crest of the pin member increases in width along the pin thread and the box root of the box thread decreases in width along the box thread. When assembled together, the pin thread crest increases in width at a different rate than the box thread root increase in width.

  • Publication number: 20240119102
Abstract: In some implementations, an edge device may receive a request from a client application indicating one or more search parameters associated with one or more search queries. The edge device may determine an identity of the client application and a type of the request based on the one or more search parameters. The edge device may selectively either cache metadata associated with search results for the one or more search queries or cache the search results, based on the identity of the client application and the type of the request. Accordingly, the edge device may deliver the cached metadata or at least a portion of the cached search results to the client application.
