  • Patent number: 12011216
Abstract: A catheter carries a position sensor in a distal, on-axis position in an irrigated ablation tip electrode. The tip electrode has a shell wall that defines a cavity through which fluid flows and exits via fluid ports formed in the shell wall. The cavity is sealed by an internal member extends into the cavity with a baffle portion and a distal portion. The distal portion safely houses the position sensor and the baffle portion diffuses and disperses fluid entering the tip electrode for a more uniform flow through the cavity. The distal portion is configured to provide an annular region that runs along the length of the tip electrode to better feed fluid to the more distal fluid ports on the tip electrode for more uniform cooling at all locations on the tip electrode.

  • Patent number: 12011555
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to guidewire devices with an outer tube and a core. The distal section of the core extends into and is surrounded by the outer tube. One or more centering mechanisms are also disposed within the outer tube and are arranged to fill a portion of the annular space between the core and the inner surface of the tube. The one or more centering mechanisms thereby assist in keeping the distal section of the core axially aligned within the tube, which enables effective control of the device and minimizes undesirable whip movements of the guidewire.

  • Patent number: 12014022
Abstract: A method, a system, and computer program product for rendering a visual representation of a target object using a selection of a first position on the surface of the target object. A reference surface is determined based on selected positions on the surface of the target object. A graphical object overlaying the visual representation of the target object is rendered. A location of the graphical object in the graphical user interface is based on the reference surface. The graphical object has a perimeter including the perimeter positions. A perimeter position of the perimeter positions is mapped to a second point on a three-dimensional representation of the target object. A distance between a first point and a second point on the three-dimensional representation of the target object is less than or equal to a second distance. The first point on the three-dimensional representation is associated with the first position.

  • Publication number: 20240195169
Abstract: A device that improves electrical power and current flow between the source and load using a unique combination of solid state semiconductor and variable impedance technologies. Pure solid state semiconductor power circuits produce non-linear and peak current flow that can cause protection devices, such as breakers and fuses to nuisance trip when driving high inrush variable resistive and inductive loads. Variable reactance transformers, on the other hand, address these irregularities but at the expense of higher energy costs, physical size and weight. The invention solves the above mentioned deficiencies by the design of new improved electrical and mechanical devices. On the electrical side is a superior variable impedance regulator circuit, in combination with a DC saturable transformer core and coil, that when activated keeps current spikes and abnormal flows within the circuit from occurring. This prevents circuit protection devices from false failures which increase equipment reliability.

  • Publication number: 20240193268
Abstract: One example method includes determining, by a threat detection system and at a first time interval, for an object and based on a first risk score computed for the object, that the object poses a threat to the networked environment. Actual threat data indicating that the object does not pose an actual threat can be received. In response to receiving the actual threat data, a value of a first counter can be computed based on prior incorrect identification of the object as a threat. A counterweight can be identified based on the value of the first counter. A second risk score for the object can be downscaled, using the identified counterweight and at a second time interval, to obtain an updated risk score for the object. Access of the object to system resources can be controlled based on whether the updated risk score satisfies a predetermined risk threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20240196143
Abstract: Described are techniques for audio processing. For instance, a process can include obtaining a first set of digital signal processing (DSP) parameters associated with a first hearing profile and a second set of DSP parameters associated with a second hearing profile different than the first hearing profile. One or more differentially processed audio samples can be output, each including a first audio output signal generated by processing a first audio signal using the first set of DSP parameters and a second audio output signal generated by processing a second audio signal using the second set of DSP parameters. For each differentially processed audio sample, a user input can be obtained indicative of the first or second audio output signal having a lower audio quality. One or more user hearing thresholds can be determined based on the respective user input obtained for each respective differentially processed audio sample.
