  • Patent number: 11607578
Abstract: A multi-functional doorway exercise device is an apparatus that safely and securely attaches to a door frame. The apparatus includes a stabilizing bar, a main pullup bar, a first support bar, a second support bar, a left bracket assembly, a right bracket assembly, a left handlebar, and a right handlebar. The stabilizing bar extends across the width of a door frame and locks into the door frame. The main pullup bar, the left handlebar, and the right handlebar allows a user to grasp onto the present invention while performing various exercises with different grip positions. The left bracket assembly and the right bracket assembly attaches the stabilizing bar onto and along both sides of the door frame. The first support bar and the second support bar connect the main pullup bar with the stabilizing bar and allows the main pullup bar to rotate about the stabilizing bar.

  • Publication number: 20230060775
Abstract: A cable tie application tool is described that includes an electro-mechanical tensioning system. When the electro-mechanical tensioning system is controlled by a processor to tighten a cable, a reactionary force through a drive nut that is pivotally mounted to a tension bar can be monitored and measured by a strain gauge, a load cell, or other sensing system. This reactionary force is an indication of tension on the cable tie and is monitored by the processor until the tension reaches a predetermined tension, at which point, the processor causes a motor in the tensioning system to stop increasing the tension on the cable tie. The processor activates a cut-off system to cut the cable tie that has been tightened to the predetermined tension.

  • Publication number: 20230055850
Abstract: A quantity of continuously cast Mg brass is made by the step of melting a charge of Mg brass and then continuously casting a rod of the Mg brass through a casting die. The casting die has been previously treated by continuously casting a melt of copper or brass through it to clean out Mg deposits formed by an earlier continuous casting of Mg brass which formed the Mg deposits. The quantity of continuously cast Mg brass may be in the form of EDM wire. These methods may be used to purify scrap or used brass, by removing metal oxides to improve the material quality, thus reducing the need to use premium priced virgin copper and zinc.

  • Publication number: 20220366285
Abstract: To simplify assisting a user in their day-to-day activities, a communication for performing an action may be sent to a user in the form of a query, where the query includes the most likely set of choices for the action arranged in a group of dichotomous (e.g., yes/no) or multiple choice answers. In this manner, a user may respond to the query by simply selecting one of the dichotomous or multiple choice answers. Historical logs of past actions, responses, queries, and so forth, may be used to predict future user actions or needs, and to formulate future queries for sending to the user. These techniques may be implemented, for example, through a remote coordination server or directly through a user's personal electronics device.
