Abstract: Overcoming all typical limitations of fasteners, disclosed is a fully-reusable, non-deforming, precise position, drywall fastener for heavy-weight items that works by anchoring to outside of a drywall panel using a drywall hole reinforced hollow cutter bar and a precise-fit pin wall body with outside rims, while fastener anchors beneath drywall panel by a manual pivoting of fastener locking arms hinged to pin wall body. Advancement of a threaded locking bolt through a center hole of pin wall body reversibly wedges apart shoulders of locking arms to cause their lateral pivoting and then locking without over-tightening fastener parts or damaging drywall.

Abstract: An apparatus and system for secure packaging, shipment, receipt and storage of mail, parcels and parcels is described. The apparatus includes an appliqué with a multitude of sensitized residue within that surround the parcel; the residue in the media forms a unique optical fingerprint, which is an exemplar image data for comparison. Substantial damage to one or more fibers alters the optical fingerprint pattern. The data is read and independently verified at waypoints and the destination. Comparing the current image data to the exemplar image data indicates damage or tampering.

Abstract: Techniques for using small parallax angles in remote sensing to determine cloud feature height include exploiting two identical medium-resolution SWIR bands with parallax to estimate cloud edge feature heights well enough to enable assessments of the impacts of shadows and proximate cloud scattering on ground illumination, and hence, on reflectance calculations. The bands are intentionally designed to have a suitable parallax angle, in one embodiment approximately 1.5 degrees. With this parallax, one band will see more ground pixels than the other band as they encounter a leading edge of a cloud and the other band will see more ground pixels than the one band as they encounter the lagging edge of the cloud. From these numbers of pixels, the height of the leading and lagging edges of the cloud can be determined.

Abstract: The present technology is generally directed to horizontal heat recovery coke ovens having monolith crowns. In some embodiments, an HHR coke oven includes a monolith crown that spans the width of the oven between opposing oven sidewalls. The monolith expands upon heating and contracts upon cooling as a single structure. In further embodiments, the crown comprises a thermally volume-stable material. In various embodiments, the monolith and thermally-volume-stable features can be used in combination or alone. These designs can allow the oven to be turned down below traditionally feasible temperatures while maintaining the structural integrity of the crown.

Abstract: A content providing service may employ a variety of streaming devices such as servers, and may associate or assign the servers to different content duration time ranges. Each server may then be responsible for servicing requests for content whose duration lies within the server's assigned content duration time range. In response to overload or underload status of a server, the server's time range may be adjusted. The time range of other servers in the system may also be adjusted to compensate.

Abstract: The present invention provides a local clean microenvironment near optical surfaces of an extreme ultraviolet (EUV) optical assembly maintained in a vacuum process chamber and configured for EUV lithography, metrology, or inspection. The system includes one or more EUV optical assemblies including at least one optical element with an optical surface, a supply of cleaning gas stored remotely from the one or more optical assemblies and a gas delivery unit comprising: a plenum chamber, one or more gas delivery lines connecting the supply of gas to the plenum chamber, one or more delivery nozzles configured to direct cleaning gas from the plenum chamber to a portion of the EUV assembly, and one or more collection nozzles for removing gas from the EUV optical assembly and the vacuum process chamber.

Abstract: Systems and methods of providing targeted advertising are provided. Physiological information is collected from a wearable monitoring device attached to a body of a first subject over a period of time, such as multiple days, weeks, or months. Exemplary physiological information includes pulse rate information, body temperature information, breathing rate information, blood pressure information, cardiac output information, and blood gas level information. The collected physiological information is analyzed to generate a profile for the first subject. At least one advertisement is selected in response to the profile, and presented to a second subject not wearing a monitoring device, wherein the first and second subjects have at least one matching demographic.

Abstract: A method for determining variations in the metallic content of a cover of a mobile communications device at different locations simultaneously includes configuring a radio frequency signal generator to generate a standing wave along a transmission line including a first conductor formed from a thin conductive film on a first side of a first nonconductive substrate and transmitting a signal on a frequency corresponding to the standing wave to excite a plurality of magnetic and electric field peaks along the first conductor coinciding with the positioning of the cover at different locations wherein the transmission line also includes a second conductor formed from a thin metallic film substantially covering a first side of a second nonconductive substrate positioned parallel to the first nonconductive substrate whereby the second conductor is electromagnetically coupled to the first conductor to identify detectable deviations in the scattering parameters (S-11) or return loss response of the transmission line.

Abstract: Friction-fit, removable plugs for holes in hollow, perforated game balls, such as Wiffle Balls and practice golf balls. Plugging the holes allows users to adjust the flight and composition of the balls in various ways, including matching the distance of balls to the available space and to the players' abilities. An adjustable golf ball is one embodiment. Plugging the holes also provides a means to attach various accessories, which creates modularity, facilitates experimentation and ball development, and permits an app-like avenue of marketing and development of balls.

Abstract: The present invention provides liposomes loaded with chelating agents, pharmaceutical formulations including these liposomes and methods of making chelating agent liposomes. Because the chelating agents are loaded in the liposome with high efficiencies, the liposomes are of use in treatment of metal ion overload in subjects. The liposomes can include two or more different chelating agents of different structures and affinities for metal ions.

The sprayer also includes an actuator located on the same side of the sprayer as the sprayer head and slip-resistance surfaces. An optional mounting base for securely holding a hygienic sprayer in a manner that may disguise its presence or be more aesthetically pleasing. The mounting base is substantially the same size as the hygienic sprayer.
