Abstract: Embodiments for deliquification of produced fluid being produced from a well are provided. In one embodiment, a system comprises a production tubing, a casing, or both that receive the produced fluid from a subterranean reservoir and provide a pathway for transmission of the produced fluid to a surface location. The system also comprises a nozzle disposed within the production tubing, the casing, or both. The nozzle includes a passageway extending between an intake and a diffuser such that the produced fluid received by the intake flows through the nozzle via the passageway. The passageway includes a region of decreased cross-sectional area at a throat that reduces the pressure of the produced fluid passing through the nozzle and the produced fluid is deliquefied as it flows through the passageway. The system also comprises a sealer, a stopper, or both coupled to the nozzle to form a nozzle assembly.

Abstract: A composite drill gun for use in a wellbore environment can include a detonation housing containing a detonation source, a composite carrier containing one or more encapsulated charges, and a detonation train connecting the detonation source to the encapsulated charges. The detonation source and each individual encapsulated charge are all sealed with respect to the wellbore environment, and thus the carrier need not be sealed with respect to the wellbore environment. The carrier can be made out of composite materials without worry of leaks into the interior of the carrier, as the detonation source and encapsulated charges are all sealed with respect to the wellbore environment. The composite carrier can be easily drilled out of the wellbore after detonation.

Abstract: A device includes a passive-on-glass (POG) structure and an interface layer. The POG structure includes a passive component and at least one contact pad on a first surface of a glass substrate. The interface layer has a second surface on the first surface of the glass substrate such that the passive component and the at least one contact pad are located between the first surface of the glass substrate and the interface layer. The interface layer includes at least one land grid array (LGA) pad formed on a third surface of the interface layer, where the third surface of the interface layer is opposite the second surface of the interface layer. The interface layer also includes at least one via formed in the interface layer configured to electrically connect the at least one contact pad with the at least one LGA pad.

Abstract: A system and method for unclogging a drain involving at least one internal member and at least one external member. At least one member is ferromagnetic, and at least one member is a magnet. External members may have handles. Internal members are disposed inside a pipe and external members are disposed outside a pipe. When an external member is moved, the magnetic force between the internal and external members causes the internal member to move. Internal members can be disposed such that they cause a clog to move further into the drain system. Internal members can also be disposed such that they are below the clog when it forms, allowing the internal members to move the clog out of the pipe system, into the sink, toilet, or other basin. Safety members can be disposed below the internal members to prevent loss of internal members into pipe system.

Abstract: A system of transmitting of data packets within a network is described. The network includes at least one device transmitting short communication messages and another device transmitting standard communication message. The network also includes an array of wireless network routers communicating in a tree-shaped logical structure with one router including a receiver for the short communication messages. The receiver accepts the short communication message in a round robin manner from client wherein each short communication message is received at a designated time period. A single buffered packet is formed from the combined short communication messages and sent using the tree-shaped network.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a digital camera configured to capture a plurality of images of a region of a body of a subject, a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor configured to sense blood flow information from the subject, and a processor in communication with the digital camera and the PPG sensor. The processor is configured to analyze a blood flow information signal from the PPG sensor and determine a heart rate frequency and/or a breathing rate frequency of the subject. The processor is also configured to analyze the plurality of images and determine whether or not a portion of the region of the body is modulating at a frequency that is similar to the heart rate frequency and/or the breathing rate frequency of the subject.

When the moving member is moved, the two rotating shafts are driven to rotate simultaneously, namely the user has to overcome the rotational resistance of the two rotating shaft during exercise.

Abstract: A combustor cap assembly includes an impingement plate coupled to an annular shroud and a cap plate which is coupled to the impingement plate and forms an impingement air plenum therebetween. The cap assembly further includes a flow conditioning plate which is coupled to a forward end portion of the shroud. The flow conditioning plate includes an inner band portion, an outer band portion and an annular portion which extends radially therebetween. The annular portion includes upstream side, a downstream side and a plurality of flow conditioning passages which provide for fluid communication through the upstream and downstream sides. The inner band portion of the flow conditioning plate at least partially defines an exhaust channel. The exhaust channel is in fluid communication with the impingement air plenum and an exhaust outlet. The exhaust outlet is positioned to route cooling air from the impingement air plenum into an annular flow passage defined within a combustor.

Abstract: A new electroless plating approach to generate a porous metallic coating is described in which a metal is electrolessly deposited on a surface. Microparticles in the metal are removed to leave pores in the metal coating. Another method of forming electroless coatings is described in which a blocking ligand is attached to the surface, followed by a second coating step. The invention includes coatings and coated apparatus formed by methods of the invention. The invention also includes catalyst structures comprising a dense substrate and a porous metal adhered to the dense substrate, which is further characterized by one or more of the specified features.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing composite content, such as video content, by compositing. A template content may be received and may have one or more color blocks. One or more drop-in content sets may each have one or more drop-in content that correspond to the one or more colors of the template content color blocks. The one or more color blocks of the template content may be replaced with its corresponding drop-in content from one of the one or more drop-in content sets to generate a composite content. Furthermore, the composite content may have demographic, geographic, and/or behavioral parameters associated with it to enable targeting the composite content, such as in the form of advertisements and/or product or service recommendations, to one or more users.
