  • Publication number: 20200263922
Abstract: Embodiments of apparatuses and methods for reforming of hydrocarbons including recovery of products are provided. In one example, a method comprises separating a reforming-zone effluent into a net gas phase stream and a liquid phase hydrocarbon stream. The net gas phase stream is separated for forming an H2-rich stream and a first liquid phase hydrocarbon stream. The H2-rich stream may be contacted with an adsorbent to form an H2-ultra rich stream and a gas stream. C3/C4 hydrocarbons are absorbed from the gas stream with the liquid phase hydrocarbon stream. The gas stream may be contacted with an H2/hydrocarbon separation membrane to separate the PSA tail gas stream and form an H2-rich permeate stream and an H2 depleted non-permeate residue stream.

  • Publication number: 20200099672
Abstract: Techniques for key distribution are provided. A first symmetric key is generated for a first downstream site, and a second symmetric key is generated for a second downstream site. The first symmetric key is transmitted to the first downstream site, and the second symmetric key is transmitted to the second downstream site. Upon receiving an indication that the first symmetric key was successfully deployed at the first downstream site, the first symmetric key is deployed on a first network node of an upstream site. Finally, upon determining that the second symmetric key was not successfully deployed at the second downstream site, techniques include refraining from deploying the second symmetric key to a second network node of the upstream site, where the second network node continues to communicate with the second downstream site using an original symmetric key.

  • Publication number: 20190207961
Abstract: A transparent proxy for malware detection includes a monitor module, a protocol determination module, a challenge generation module, a response determination module, and a data control module. The monitor module examines data originating from an application towards a remote server. The protocol determination module identifies the protocol type used for the data. The challenge generation module produces a challenge for the application based upon the protocol type, sends the challenge to the application, and maintains a state related to the data and the challenge. The response determination module makes a determination if an automatic non-interactive application response is received in response to the challenge from the application. The data control module allows the first data to continue to the remote server when the determination is valid. The data control module reports malware detection and blocks the data to continue to the remote server when the determination is invalid.
