  • Patent number: 10796545
Abstract: Changes of a vertical and horizontal position of an item are programmatically monitored relative to at least one three-dimensional (3D) item-specific proximity exclusion attribute that precludes movement of the item into a defined 3D item-configured prohibited region by iteratively querying an item tag of the item for measured vertical and horizontal coordinates of the item tag. In response to determining that a detected change of at least one of the vertical and horizontal position of the item results in the item being located within the defined 3D item-configured prohibited region, an item-specific proximity exclusion alert is generated indicating that the item is located within the defined 3D item-configured prohibited region.

  • Publication number: 20200247546
Abstract: Seats and seat assemblies, such as for installation into aircraft, are described herein. In some embodiments, a seat assembly can include a framework configured to be mounted within an aircraft and a plurality of seats coupled to the framework. Each seat can include (a) a seat pan slidably coupled to the framework and (b) a seat back pivotally coupled to the framework and rotatable between an upright position and a reclined position. In some embodiments, the seat back is operably coupled to the seat pan such that movement of the seat back from the upright position to the reclined position moves the seat pan away from seat back to increase the effective recline of the seat.

  • Patent number: 10613811
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus for communicating video data in packed frames are described. The video data corresponds to multiple asymmetrical display devices, and the packed frames are transmitted through a single display port. In one example a method includes receiving video data targeted to multiple display devices, the data for each display being provided as a set of scanlines for display at a first clock rate, inserting padded scanlines into the set of scanlines to obtain a padded set of scanlines that includes the same number of scanlines a second display device, generating a packed frame by combining the padded set of scanlines with the set of scanlines corresponding to the second display device, and transmitting the packed frame over a communication link. The display devices may have different resolutions. The location of each padded scanline in the padded set of scanlines is identified by configuration information.
