  • Publication number: 20230049259
Abstract: A method of determining residual intensity noise (RIN) of a sensor may comprise determining a first amplitude of a first harmonic of the sensor while a signal propagating through the sensor is modulated at a modulating frequency corresponding to twice an eigenfrequency of the sensor. The method may further comprise determining a second amplitude of a second harmonic of the sensor while the signal propagating through the sensor is modulated the modulating frequency, and determining the RIN of the sensor as a ratio of the first amplitude and the second amplitude.

  • Publication number: 20230047200
Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided to improve the positioning performance of a positioning application. The method receives particular radio signal propagation information regarding received radio signal propagation parameter of a respective signal collected by a mobile device following transmission by a beacon on a sub-channel. The method also receives past radio signal propagation information regarding the received radio signal propagation parameter of signals previously transmitted by the beacon and collected by the mobile device on one or more sub-channels. Based on the particular radio signal propagation information and the past radio signal propagation information, the method determines a value for representing the respective signal that is different from the received radio signal propagation parameter of the respective signal.

  • Publication number: 20230048049
Abstract: Method and system for detecting drug and/or drug metabolites in a liquid sample, such as a wastewater sample. According to one embodiment, the method involves providing a device that includes a graphene field effect transistor and a first aptamer coupled to the graphene field effect transistor in a first well, the first aptamer being selective for a first drug or drug metabolite. Next, a liquid sample is introduced to the first aptamer of the device. Next, a sweeping liquid gate voltage is applied to the device to obtain a resistance versus liquid gate voltage plot for the device. Next, the Dirac voltage shift, if any, in the liquid gate voltage plot for the device is used to determine the presence and/or quantity of the drug or drug metabolite. Additional aptamers selective for different drugs or drug metabolites of interest may also be included in other wells of the device.

  • Publication number: 20230053115
Abstract: A system and method for automatic coding out biases in applications, systems, and processes are disclosed. A processor operatively connected to a memory via a communication interface applies an intake process based on received inventory data to applications, systems, and processes and implements a machine learning model in response to applying the intake process. The processor also identifies areas of the potential bias data within the applications, systems, and processes by utilizing the machine learning model based on analyzing response data received during the intake process; generates output data that includes bias data and exceptions data identified for the applications, systems, and processes; and mitigates the bias data and exceptions data in response to the output data by implementing a mitigation process.

  • Patent number: 11580518
Abstract: If a user loses an electronic device that has the capability to conduct financial transactions, the user may report that the electronic device is lost using a lost-device software application to a management electronic device associated with a provider of the electronic device. In response to receiving this information, a disabling command is sent to a payment network associated with the financial account of the user to temporarily disable use of the electronic device to conduct the financial transactions. In particular, the electronic device may include a secure element that stores a payment applet for a financial account, and the disabling command may disable a mapping from a virtual identifier for the financial account to a financial primary account number. Subsequently, if the user finds the electronic device, the user may re-enable the capability (and, thus, the mapping) by providing authentication information to the electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20230044316
Abstract: An information handling system includes first and second memories, and a processor. The first memory stores user settings for performing a search in a system management console. The second memory stores data associated with components of the system management console. The processor receives multiple user defined weights, and each of the user defined weights is associated with a different search criterion of multiple search criteria. Based on the received user defined weights, the processor determines updated weights for each of the search criteria. The processor stores the updated weights for each of the search criteria in the user setting of the first memory. The processor receives a search query, and provides search results based on the search query and the updated weights for each of the search criteria. The search results include data from the second memory.
