  • Publication number: 20220172209
Abstract: Transactions between account-based endpoints are performed in a two-step process that first qualifies the recipient's validity and then performs the actionable transfer. The qualification step, unlike a payment pre-qualification, validates the recipient account validity while collecting information required for filling out a transaction data set. The information may include anti-money laundering and know-your-customer information as well as specific account details needed for on-boarding. A recipient payouts service provider may be assigned a tokenized bank identification number for use in routing the transfer through existing financial processing networks. Data constructs, minimum required information, and format checks may be facilitated by initiator-side and recipient-side application program interfaces.

  • Patent number: 11341472
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention relate to a point-of-sale (POS) system, and more particularly, to systems, devices and methods of making secure payments using a mobile device in addition to a POS terminal that may be an insecure payment device exposed to various tamper attempts under certain circumstances. The mobile device is involved in a trusted transaction between a central financial entity, e.g., a bank, and the payment terminal, such that the insecure payment terminal may be further authenticated based on rolling codes, two-way or three-way authentication, or an off-line mode enabled by incorporation of the mobile device. Although either of the mobile device and the payment terminal provides limited security, a POS system incorporating both of them demonstrates an enhanced level of security.

  • Patent number: 11336703
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to automated notification generation, where a generated notification comprises a live representation of a content update that is linked and synchronized with a distributed collaborative canvas (or other source content) comprising the content portion which is being updated. A non-limiting example of a content update is a message notification, such as an at-mention (@mention), that is included inline within a content portion. Other triggers for automated notification generation are also described. Generation of an exemplary notification comprises a contextual relevance analysis that not only selects, for a recipient of the message notification, a specific host application/service endpoint to present the notification in but also determines how/what specific content to present inline within the selected host application/service endpoint.
