  • Patent number: 9165218
Abstract: An image analyzer (120) aggregates image samples (140) into a cluster (170) based on the image samples (140) being classified from a subset of image metrics applied to a reference sample (130). The image analyzer (120) generates an image quality output (150) by analyzing a distance (180) from the cluster (180) relative to another cluster.

  • Publication number: 20150294242
Abstract: Systems and methods for adapting an incremental information object (IIO) to accommodate a change in a workflow are provided. A method includes analyzing an IIO, wherein the IIO comprises a plurality of tiles, and wherein the plurality of tiles comprise a code. The code is confirmed and, if the confirmation is successful, a determination is made as to whether the workflow has changed. If the workflow has changed the IIO is modified to change the information density of the IIO, a new code comprising a bitstream is generated, and the bitstream is overwritten on the plurality of tiles.

  • Patent number: 9156345
Abstract: A transmission which is pre-eminently suitable for an electric and/or hybrid drive has an input which can be connected to an electromotor/generator, and an output which can be connected to a load. The transmission has two parallel transmission paths between the input and output, first coupling means being present in the first transmission path and second coupling means being present in the second transmission path. Furthermore, a gear reduction is present in at least either of the two transmission paths. The first coupling means are arranged such that they are not capable of dissipating significant power and the second coupling means are arranged such that they are capable indeed of dissipating significant power.

  • Patent number: 9161123
Abstract: A microphone circuit has a clip detection circuit which detects when an analogue to digital converter output has reached a threshold. A variable attenuator is controlled based on the clip detection circuit output. The feedback is thus based on the ADC output level, and the processing of this signal can be implemented without requiring baseband processing of the signal—it can simply be based on a state of the ADC output. An overrule function is also provided so that the clip detection AGC control can be inhibited or controlled differently.

  • Publication number: 20150276166
Abstract: The present invention relates to a bowl-shaped optical cover (110) for a light-emitting module. The optical cover (110) has an inner concave surface (112) for facing a light source, and an outer convex surface (114) for facing away from a light source. The optical cover (110) comprising: a micro lenses array structure (122) arranged on the inner surface (112) of the optical cover (110) for refracting light emitted from a light source; and a macro lens structure (124) formed between the micro lenses array structure (122) and the outer convex surface (114) of the optical cover (110). The macro lens structure(124) has a thickness (Z1), wherein the thickness (Z1) is varied along the optical cover (110) such that light is refracted from a thinner part towards a thicker part of the macro lens structure (124). Various embodiments of the present invention provide improved luminous intensity distribution and luminance uniformity.

  • Publication number: 20150268559
Abstract: A radiation source (e.g., LPP— laser produced plasma source) for generation of extreme UV (EUV) radiation has at least two fuel particle streams having different trajectories. Each stream is directed to cross the path of an excitation (laser) beam focused at a plasma formation region, but the trajectories are spaced apart at the plasma formation region, and the streams phased, so that only one stream has a fuel particle in the plasma formation region at any time, and so that when a fuel particle from one stream is generating plasma and EUV radiation at the plasma generation region, other fuel particles are sufficiently spaced so as to be substantially unaffected by the plasma. The arrangement permits potential doubling of the radiation intensity achievable for a particular fuel particle size.
