  • Patent number: 11258575
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may utilize different beam configurations for different signal types, traffic demand, path loss, capabilities of the wireless device or other wireless devices in the system, and the like. The wireless device also may be capable of determining different duplexing modes, which may be utilized in addition to the different beam configurations. The duplexing mode may be based on received measurement reports (e.g., from one or more reference signals) or in some instances, the duplexing mode may be determined by another node (e.g., a core network node, a base station) and transmitted to the wireless device.

  • Patent number: 11258846
Abstract: A system, process, and computer-readable medium for processing received files across different cloud-based platforms is disclosed. A process may include selecting a first cloud-based processing system of multiple cloud-based processing systems, serializing the file, and sending the file to the selected cloud-based processing system. If the selected cloud-based processing system does not complete processing of the first file within a time threshold, the process may select a second cloud-based processing system and send the first file to that selected second cloud-based processing system. The method may further comprise a library of cloud-specific software migration operations. General functions to be run on cloud-based processing systems may be translated into platform-specific functions to be run in a specific cloud-based processing system.

  • Patent number: 11258617
Abstract: A client device may be provisioned with a digital certificate to support various operations. The client may transmit a certificate request to a server. The server may initiate a key agreement process using a short-lived private key generated at the server and a public key of the device to derive a symmetric key. The symmetric key may be used to encrypt a payload that includes the digital certificate and an associated private key. Further, the server initiates a key agreement process using the partial private key that was generated for the client and the short-lived public key. A partial key agreement result, and the encrypted payload may be transmitted to the client. The client may complete the key agreement process using the partial key agreement result and a respective portion of the private key. The client may derive the encryption key and decrypt the payload to access the digital certificate.

  • Publication number: 20220052256
Abstract: A projected memory device includes a carbon-based projection component. The device includes two electrodes, a memory segment, and a projection component. The projection component and the memory segment form a dual element that connects the two electrodes. The projection component extends parallel to and in contact with the memory segment. The memory segment includes a resistive memory material, while the projection component includes a thin film of non-insulating material that essentially comprises carbon. In a particular implementation, the non-insulating material and the projection component essentially comprises amorphous carbon. Using carbon and, in particular, amorphous carbon, as a main component of the projection component, allows unprecedented flexibility to be achieved when tuning the electrical resistance of the projection component.

  • Publication number: 20220048504
Abstract: A vehicular vision system includes a camera and a radar sensor disposed at the equipped vehicle. The system includes an electronic control unit (ECU) and, as the equipped vehicle travels along a road, the ECU, via processing of image data and processing of sensor data, determines other vehicles present on the road ahead of the equipped vehicle. The ECU, responsive to determining the presence of a plurality of other vehicles present on the road, fuses the image data captured by the camera and the sensor data captured by the radar sensor. The ECU, based on the fused data, determines a threat level for each vehicle of the plurality of other vehicles and, when the threat level for one or more vehicles of the plurality of other vehicles exceeds a threshold value, generates a braking command. The ECU transmits the braking command to a braking system of the equipped vehicle.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed to monitoring network traffic using network monitoring computers (NMCs). Anomalous events may be classified based on the monitored network traffic and attack models such that the classification determines that targets of the anomalous events may be currently subject to attacks by entities communicating on the networks. A honeypot trap may be provided in the networks based on the classified events such that the honeypot trap mimics characteristics of the targets. The portions of the network traffic associated with the honeypot trap may be monitored. Characteristics of the attacks may be determined based on the monitored portions of network traffic. Reports that include information based on the characteristics of the attacks may be generated.

  • Publication number: 20220051269
Abstract: Systems and computer-implemented methods are described for modeling card inactivity. For example, hierarchical modeling may be used in which a first level classifier may be trained and validated to predict whether a card will be inactive. For cards predicted to become inactive by the first level classifier, a second level classifier may be trained and validated to predict when the card will become inactive. The first level classifier may include a binary classifier that generates two probabilities that respectively predict that the card will and will not become inactive. The second level classifier may include a multi-class classifier that generates a first probability that the card will become inactive at a first time period (such as one or more months in the future) and a second probability that the card will become inactive at a second time period. The multi-class classifier may generate other probabilities corresponding to other time periods.
