  • Publication number: 20220043117
Abstract: An example optical transceiver system, such as a solid-state light detection and ranging (lidar) system, includes a tunable, optically reflective metasurface to selectively reflect incident optical radiation as transmit scan lines at transmit steering angles between a first steering angle and a second steering angle. In some embodiments, a feedback element, such as a volume Bragg grating element, may lock a laser to narrow the band of optical radiation. A receiver may include a tunable, optically reflective metasurface for receiver line-scanning or a two-dimensional array of detector elements forming a set of discrete receive scan lines. In embodiments incorporating a two-dimensional array of detector elements, receiver optics may direct optical radiation incident at each of a plurality of discrete receive steering angles to a unique subset of the discrete receive scan lines of detector elements.

  • Publication number: 20220044134
Abstract: An intelligent table-based question answering system receives an input user query requesting information from an input table to generate a response to the input query. Two types of user queries including textual user queries and scalar user queries that require at least one mathematical operation to be executed can be processed for answer generation. The input table is processed to generate a paragraph of table text which includes row and column information extracted from the input table. The input query is provided along with the paragraph of table text to a deep Quans model which outputs a candidate answer that forms a textual portion of the response. Also, the candidate answer is reverse mapped to the input table and a portion of the input table including the candidate answer is provided as a tabular portion of the response.

  • Patent number: 11243935
Abstract: A content management system (CMS) receives a create request indicating portions of content items maintained in a repository. CMS generates a new content item incorporating the indicated portions and checks-in the new content item into the repository. In another aspect, a CMS stores a link data indicating that a first portion of the new content item is linked to a second portion of a content item existing in the repository. Upon determining that the second portion has been modified after the checking-in of the new content item, CMS replaces the first portion in the new content item with the modified portion. In one more aspect, CMS receives an update request specifying a modified portion of a content item. CMS generates a revised content item by incorporating the modified portion in the content item and checks-in the revised content item as a revised version of the content item into the repository.
