  • Publication number: 20110161933
Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for improved tracking of software item defects. The approach involves maintaining defect attributes for a particular software bug. Certain attributes are user-defined while others are derived. Attributes may be, for example, questions, requests for action, requests for approval, or others. The primary attributes and derived attributes for the bug are associated with users that are associated with the software bug, and a determination is made as to whether or not action is required by the individual users for the software bug using the attributes. If action is required, the user is alerted that action is required for the software bug. The actions and/or bugs may be presented to the user using an inbox format. The inbox may sort actions based on priority, what type of attribute is relevant to the user, or using other categorizations.

  • Patent number: 7929161
Abstract: A printing control system includes a plurality of printing units, an image source, and a system processing unit. The image source provides a print job comprising a plurality of images to the system processing unit. The system processing unit receives the plurality of images in the print job from the image source, and calculates an image histogram for each image in the print job. The system processing unit then determines the similarity of the images in the print job by comparing the calculated histograms. The system processing unit then classifies the images into classes based on the comparison, and sends the classes of images to the printing units.

  • Publication number: 20110072416
Abstract: Controlling how changes made to a version of a reusable component (e.g., for displaying in a graphical user interface) are applied, or not applied, to another version or versions of that component. A variation is defined, the variation comprising a set of overridden property values for the component. The variation is derived from a version of the component, and inherits property values from the version and also from its ancestors, if applicable. To reuse the component, the reuse may be derived from the variation, in which case the reuse inherits the overridden property values through the variation, provided the variation is turned on, and through the version from which the variation was derived if the variation is turned off. A particular variation may be turned on and off within an inheritance chain.

  • Publication number: 20100320918
Abstract: A combination dock light, safety light, and bollard serves the purposes of all three, without having any sensitive structure projecting out from the bollard into the traffic lane at the loading dock. A trailer lamp assembly within the bollard projects out a window cutout at an upper end of the tubular metal body of the bollard. A red/green safety light is visible through an elongated cutout on the proximal side of the bollard. A photo eye turns the lamp on when the loading dock door is opened, and off when the dock door is closed, and also switches the safety light to green or to red depending on whether the dock door is opened or closed.

  • Publication number: 20100052549
Abstract: A combination dock light and bollard serves the purposes of both, without having any sensitive structure projecting out from the bollard into the traffic lane at the loading dock. A lamp assembly within the bollard projects out a window cutout at an upper end of the tubular metal body of the bollard. The lamp assembly rests on a sub-plate welded into the bollard below the cutout. The lamp holder is mounted on compression springs held in place with machine screw, to permit adjustment of the lamp beam direction. A photo eye turns the lamp on when the loading dock door is opened, and off when the dock door is closed.

  • Publication number: 20090327154
Abstract: The present invention provides systems, methods, and computer program products for monitoring collateral positions of public-deposit accounts so as to efficiently pledge collateral to under-collateralized positions and release collateral from over-collateralized positions. For example, when a customer deposits additional funds, which results in an uninsured balance that exceeds the allocated collateral, the present invention may identify that account as being under-collateralized, determine the pledge amount required to properly collateralize the account, and then create, submit and track a pledge request that corresponds to the required pledge amount.

  • Patent number: 7355745
Abstract: A document-to-printer color gamut matching system enables comparison of at least two color maps in a manner that allows selection of the printer that will result in the best print output. Information related to the document to be printed and information describing the color gamut(s) that each available printer is capable of printing is compared. Each color gamut is evaluated to determine suitability for use with the document. The document-to-printer gamut matching system may provide the author of the document with a number of candidate printers best matched to the printing of the document depending on the rendering intent of the author; may select a printer based on a measurement of best fit; or may generate a custom color map to result in a color gamut that is satisfactory.
