  • Patent number: 10329499
Abstract: Steam pyrolysis and hydroprocessing are integrated including hydrogen redistribution to permit direct processing of crude oil feedstocks to produce petrochemicals including olefins and aromatics. A feed is initially split into a light portion and a heavy portion, and the heavy portion is hydroprocessed. A hydroprocessed effluent is charged, along with steam, to a convection section of a steam pyrolysis zone. The mixture is heated and passed to a vapor-liquid separation section. A residual portion is removed and light components are charged to a pyrolysis section of the steam pyrolysis zone. A mixed product stream is recovered from the steam pyrolysis zone and it is separated into product including olefins and aromatics.

  • Publication number: 20190188822
Abstract: Techniques for improving data transfer in a system having multiple accelerated processing devices (“APDs”) are described herein. In such a system, multiple APDs are coupled to a processor (e.g., a central processing unit (“CPU”)) via a general interconnect fabric and to each other via a high speed interconnect. The techniques herein increase the effective bandwidth for transfer of data between the CPU and the APD by transmitting data to both APDs through the portion of the interconnect fabric coupled to each respective APD. Then, one of the APDs transfers data to the other APD or to the processor via the high speed inter-APD interconnect. Although data transferred “indirectly” through the helper APD takes slightly more time to be transferred than a direct transfer, the total effective bandwidth to the target is increased due to the high-speed inter-APD interconnect.

The speech sent to the remote facility may be used to provide corrective action. A system for recognizing speech in a vehicle may include a microphone, and may be configured to determine a local speech recognition result from the speech command and determine when the speech command includes a navigation instruction. The system may further include a remote server in communication with the vehicle that receives a sample of the speech command from the speech recognition system when the speech command includes a navigation instruction.
