  • Publication number: 20190132236
Abstract: IoT twinning groups can be dynamically created. These twinning groups can be activated based on selected triggers. As part of twinning operation, service delivery can be re-directing away from the primary device to the IoT twinning group. Messages originating from members of the IoT twinning group can be processed and forwarded externally as if they came from the primary device. Further, the twinning service can be de-activated based on selected triggers.

  • Publication number: 20190127685
Abstract: A novel macroscale, contactless, label-free method to print in situ three-dimensional (3D) particle assemblies of different morphologies and sizes is demonstrated using non-adherent (blood) and adherent (MCF-7 and HUVEC) cells. This method of manipulating particles such as cells or biological moleules does not necessarily require the use of nozzles that can contaminate the cell suspension, or to which cells can adhere. Instead, the intrinsic diamagnetic properties of particles such as cells are used to magnetically manipulate them in situ in a nontoxic paramagnetic medium, creating various shapes such as (a) rectangular bar, (b) three-pointed star, and (c) spheroids of varying sizes. A normal distribution of 3D cell structures is produced when formed through magnetic assembly. The use of this method in co-culturing of different cell lines is also demonstrated.

  • Patent number: 10277649
Abstract: A user may interact with a collection of devices that each exhibit particular device properties. Where each device executes and presents an isolated computing environment, inconsistencies may arise in the user interaction by the user with different devices. Alternatively, a terminal server may present a computing environment to various auxiliary devices, but such presentation may fail to utilize some device properties of some devices, and/or may present a computing environment that is not suitable for some devices. Instead, a primary device of the device collection may adapt a primary computing environment to an auxiliary computing environment for each auxiliary device, based upon its device properties. Upon receiving a request to execute an application, the primary device may execute the application within the auxiliary computing environment, and may adapt the application based upon the device properties. The primary device may stream each auxiliary computing environment to the respective auxiliary device.

  • Publication number: 20190123485
Abstract: An electrical connector includes a first housing. A second housing is moveable relative to the first housing. The electrical connector includes a lever mounted on the first housing for relative rotational movement. The lever may move between a pre-stage position and a final position. The lever engages the second housing to move the second housing linearly between a pre-stage position and a seated position relative to the first housing. The electrical connector includes a pre-lock that retains the lever in the pre-stage position relative to the first housing. A pre-lock release on the second housing releases the pre-lock when the second housing is in the pre-stage position relative to the first housing. Releasing the pre-lock allows movement of the lever relative to the first housing.

  • Publication number: 20190123955
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method carried out at a network device for restarting one or more components of the network device, comprising the steps of monitoring whether at least one condition has been satisfied at any component of the network device. If at least one condition satisfied, one or more components are restarted of the network device, based, at least in part, on the at least one condition. When the network device has been restarted a management server is informed that one or more components of the network device have been restarted. According to the present invention, whether a configuration has been received for the network device is determined from a user or administrator at the management server. When a configuration has been received the configuration is retrieved from the management server. The network device is then configured with the configuration retrieved.

  • Patent number: 10271313
Abstract: A method for selecting carrier aggregation (CA) configurations includes determining whether a first wireless device is operating or expected to operate using a single carrier configuration on a cell associated with a first frequency band. If the first wireless device is not operating or expected to operate using a single carrier configuration on a cell associated with a first frequency band, a first CA configuration is selected for a second wireless device. If the first wireless device is operating or expected to operate using a single carrier configuration on a cell associated with a first frequency band, a second CA configuration that is more restrictive than the first CA configuration is selected for the second wireless device. An identifier of the selected one of the first CA configuration or the second configuration is transmitted to the second wireless device.
