  • Patent number: 11262650
Abstract: Embodiments relate to a method of fabricating a nano-sized structure in a resin element by nanoimprint lithography (NIL). The method reduces adhesive failure during NIL demolding by inhibiting polymerization at the interface between the resin element and the template. The method includes depositing a layer of polymerization inhibiting compound onto a surface of the template. The layer of polymerization inhibiting compound has a thickness no more than 10 nanometers. A surface of the template has a nano-sized pattern that mirrors that nano-sized structure. The method further includes pressing the template onto the resin element (or the resin element onto the template) to form the nano-sized structure in the resin element. The process also includes curing the resin element after forming the nano-sized structure and removing the template from the resin element after curing the resin element. The polymerization inhibiting compound prevents adhesive failure during the removing.

  • Patent number: 11264135
Abstract: Using computer-assisted classification and/or computer-assisted segmentation with or without monitoring the field of view for change, the workflow for ultrasound imaging may be made more efficient. The classification and/or segmentation is used to perform a next act in the sequence of acts making up the ultrasound examination. Rather than requiring a user to determine the act and implement the act, the ultrasound scanner determines and implements the act based on the identification and/or location of an imaged object. For example, the identification of the object as a kidney using a machine-learnt classifier triggers a color flow scan, and the location of the object determines a placement for the color flow region of interest (ROI), avoiding the user having to perform the ROI initiation and/or placement and increasing workflow efficiency.

  • Patent number: 11263572
Abstract: An example method for rendering a dynamic dashboard for an electronic computing device includes receiving data regarding a server computing device. The data indicates whether there are any current or potential problems that impact an operation of the server computing device. Information is obtained regarding any business applications currently running on the server computing device. Information is obtained regarding customers using the business applications currently running on the server computing device. The dynamic dashboard is created to include the information regarding the customers and the business applications currently running on the server computing device and that describes any current or potential problems based on the data. Content of the dynamic dashboard is tailored based upon an identity of an individual who is accessing the dynamic dashboard. The dynamic dashboard is rendered on the electronic computing device.

  • Patent number: 11263091
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, according to one approach, includes: receiving a data operation request which includes an activated compound operation flag. The data operation request is added to a queue in a gateway node, and the data operation request is eventually transmitted to a disaster recovery site. An inode entry which corresponds to the portion of data is locked, and metadata associated with the inode entry is updated to indicate that the data operation request has been performed at the disaster recovery site. Supplemental data operation requests which correspond to the portion of data are also identified by evaluating the metadata associated with the inode entry. These supplemental data operation requests are transmitted to the disaster recovery site, and the metadata associated with the inode entry is updated to indicate that the supplemental data operation requests have been performed at the disaster recovery site. Furthermore, the inode entry is unlocked.

  • Patent number: 11263114
Abstract: Threads of a multithreaded application may be scheduled to different cores and executed in various orders and at various frequencies. Controlling how the threads are scheduled and clock rates of processor cores enables testing multiple possible execution scenarios, which may force previously unknown timing window problems to occur. These timing window problems may then be detected.

  • Patent number: 11265202
Abstract: The current document is directed to an integrated cloud-management facility, or subsystem, that incorporates an automated-application-deployment-facility integrator that incorporates one or more automated-application-deployment facilities into the cloud-management facility. The automated-application-deployment-facility integrator allows users of the cloud-management facility to access one or more automated-application-deployment facilities within the context of the cloud-management facility. The automated-application-deployment-facility integrator provides to system managers and administrators, through the cloud-management facility, a wider range of functionalities and capabilities than is provided by a cloud-management facility that includes only a single automated-application-deployment facility, or subsystem.

  • Patent number: 11261788
Abstract: An inlet particle separator system for a gas turbine engine includes a separator manifold. The separator manifold includes an inlet upstream from an outlet. The inlet is to receive an incoming airflow, and the outlet is to be fluidly coupled to an inlet of the gas turbine engine. The inlet particle separator system includes at least one dry fog nozzle coupled proximate the inlet so as to face at least partially away from the inlet. The dry fog nozzle is external to the separator manifold, and the dry fog nozzle is to direct a spray of dry fog in a direction transverse to the incoming airflow to agglomerate with fine particles in the incoming airflow to form agglomerated particles. The inlet particle separator system includes a scavenging system coupled to the separator manifold downstream from the inlet, and the scavenging system removes the agglomerated particles from the separator manifold.

  • Patent number: 11262931
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or computing devices are provided for synchronous replication. For example, synchronous replication relationships are established between a first storage object (e.g., a file, a logical unit number (LUN), a consistency group, etc.), hosted by a first storage controller, and a plurality of replication storage objects hosted by other storage controllers. In this way, a write operation to the first storage object is implemented in parallel upon the first storage object and the replication storage objects in a synchronous manner, such as using a zero-copy operation to reduce overhead otherwise introduced by performing copy operations. Reconciliation is performed in response to a failure so that the first storage object and the replication storage objects comprise consistent data. Failed write operations and replication write operations are retried, while enforcing a single write semantic.

  • Patent number: 11263021
Abstract: Examples described here include systems and methods for refreshing the operating system (“OS”) of a device enrolled in a management platform. Execution of a first command file ensures that necessary components of the management platform residing on the device are stored in a partitioned portion of the device hard drive to preserve them during the OS refresh. After a new instance of the OS has been installed, execution of a second command file migrates the necessary components from the partitioned portion of the hard drive to the new OS instance. When the user logs back into the refreshed device, a third command file installs all necessary device management components at the new OS instance and re-enrolls the device with the management platform. In this manner, the OS of a managed device can be refreshed and re-enrolled in the management platform without significant input from a user or administrator.

  • Publication number: 20220059121
Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide for a machine-learning architecture for modeling quality measures for enrollment signals. Modeling these enrollment signals enables the machine-learning architecture to identify deviations from expected or ideal enrollment signal in future test phase calls. These differences can be used to generate quality measures for the various audio descriptors or characteristics of audio signals. The quality measures can then be fused at the score-level with the speaker recognition's embedding comparisons for verifying the speaker. Fusing the quality measures with the similarity scoring essentially calibrates the speaker recognition's outputs based on the realities of what is actually expected for the enrolled caller and what was actually observed for the current inbound caller.

  • Publication number: 20220060517
Abstract: A cloud-based security solution that provides a robust and secure framework for managing and enforcing security policies related to various resources managed in the cloud is disclosed. The cloud-based security solution is implemented by a security zone policy enforcement system in a cloud service provider infrastructure. The system receives a request to perform an operation on a resource and determines a compartment associated with the resource. The system determines that the compartment is associated with a security zone and determines a set of one or more security zone policies applicable to the resource. The system then determines that the operation on the resource is permitted based on the set of one or more security zone policies and responsive to determining that the operation on the resource is permitted, allows the operation to be performed on the resource.
