  • Publication number: 20220051465
Abstract: An apparatus includes an electronic display configured to be positioned in a first location and one or more processors electronically coupled to the electronic display. The processors receive a video from a server. The video depicts a view of a second location and includes an image of a rectangular casing, a frame, and one or more muntins. The image is composited with the video by the server to provide an illusion of a window in the second location to a user viewing the video. The rectangular casing surrounds the window. The processors synchronize a time-of-view at the second location in the video with a time-of-day at the first location and synchronize a second length-of-day at the second location in the video with a first length-of-day at the first location. The processors transmit the video to the electronic display for viewing by the user.

  • Patent number: 11250488
Abstract: Various embodiments attempt to predict items in a new product category that may be of interest to a particular user when the user has not interacted with or made purchases in that product category. In accordance with various embodiments of the present disclosure, this is accomplished by training machine learning models, such as deep neural networks, using both the historical purchase data from the particular user as well as the historical purchase data from many other users to infer what new category of items the particular user might be interested in. In some embodiments, the previous purchase data of the other users are used to construct a graph, and the graph is used to train the machine learning model rather than the raw data. The graph can represent the entirety of the previous purchase data with less actual data, thereby requiring less memory and other computational resources.

  • Patent number: 11252011
Abstract: With exponential growth in virtualized traffic within physical data centers, many end users (e.g., individuals and enterprises) have begun moving work processes and data to cloud computing platforms. However, accessing virtualized traffic traversing the cloud computing platforms for application, network, and security analysis is a challenge. Introduced here, therefore, are visibility platforms for monitoring virtualized traffic traversing a cloud computing platform, such as Amazon Web Services, VMware, and OpenStack. A visibility platform can be integrated into a cloud computing platform to provide a coherent view of virtualized traffic in motion across the cloud computing platform for a given end user. Said another way, a visibility platform can intelligently select, filter, and forward virtualized traffic belonging to an end user to a monitoring infrastructure, thereby eliminating traffic blind spots.

  • Patent number: 11252138
Abstract: A redundant key management system includes a key management system coupled to a plurality of server devices through a network. A first server device includes a managed device coupled to a first remote access controller device that receive a device locking key from the key management system and uses it to lock the managed device. The first remote access controller device then encrypts the device locking key, broadcasts the encrypted device locking key through the network to a second remote access controller device in a second server device, and erases the device locking key. Subsequently, the first remote access controller device transmits a request to retrieve the encrypted device locking key. When the first remote access controller receives the encrypted device locking key from the second remote access controller device, it decrypts the encrypted device locking key and uses the resulting device locking key to unlock the managed device.
