  • Patent number: 12063689
Abstract: A user equipment (UE) transmits reference signals for positioning while in Idle or Inactive state. While in a connected state, the UE is pre-configured with Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) resource configuration including at least one of timing adjustment (TA) and an uplink (UL) transmission spatial filter. The UE transmits positioning SRS while in Idle or Inactive mode based on the pre-configuration. The TA and UL transmission spatial filter may be updated by a serving base station using control signals or a paging message received by the UE while in in Idle or Inactive mode. The validity of the TA and UL transmission spatial filter may be monitored using expiration timers or a relative position change threshold. The reference signals transmitted may be based on a UE may Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH), which is insensitive to TA changes. A long sequence PRACH may be used for improved positioning accuracy.

  • Publication number: 20240266414
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure advantageously provide methods of manufacturing semiconductor devices having multi-Vt capability in the scaled space between nanosheets in advanced GAA nodes. One or more embodiments provide an integration scheme to advantageously reduce the gate resistance by combining n-/p-dipole and mid-gap metal with low resistance to achieve desired work function and low-resistance metal gate. In one or more embodiments, a mid-gap metal is used to fill nanosheets and act as a liner for subsequent fill by a low resistance metal. After dipole engineering, instead of filling the gate-all-around nanosheet with traditional n or p metal, in one or more embodiments, the nanosheet is advantageously filled with a single work function mid-gap metal to achieve n and p work function. If the work function was shifted in either P-dipole or N-dipole bandedge after dipole engineering, the mid-gap materials can also shift the bandedge the opposite way.

  • Patent number: 12057993
Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide a method of detecting and remediating anomalies in an SD-WAN implemented by multiple forwarding elements (FEs) located at multiple sites connected by the SD-WAN. The method receives, from the multiple FEs, multiple sets of flow data associated with application traffic that traverses the multiple FEs. The method uses a first set of machine-trained processes to analyze the multiple sets of flow data in order to identify at least one anomaly associated with at least one particular FE in the multiple FEs. The method uses a second set of machine-trained processes to identify at least one remedial action for remediating the identified anomaly. The method implements the identified remedial action by directing an SD-WAN controller deployed in the SD-WAN to implement the identified remedial action.
