  • Publication number: 20240284301
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques described herein provide for extending the range of a personal audio device connected to a personal wireless communication device via enabling the personal audio device to connect to and communicate with the personal wireless communication device via an access point (AP). An AP may have a larger range than a personal wireless communication device, and accordingly, an AP may be used to stream audio or voice calls to the personal audio device when the direct link quality between the personal audio device and the personal wireless communication device is below a threshold. To reduce latency and packet loss associated with transitions between communicating with the personal wireless communication device directly and via the AP or transitions between multiple APs, the personal audio device may be configured to establish a new wireless communication connection before breaking a current wireless communication connection.

  • Publication number: 20240283392
Abstract: Rail assemblies for connecting a photovoltaic panel to a tube include a rail shaped to be mounted on the tube such that, when mounted, the rail extends transversely outward of the tube between first and second ends. The rail assemblies further include a rail connector for securing the rail to the tube. The rail connector includes a first clip attached to the rail, a second clip attached to the rail, and a lock bracket defining a notch shaped to releasably receive the second clip. The first clip is attached to the lock bracket. When the rail is secured to the tube, the first clip and the second clip collectively apply tension on the lock bracket to clamp the rail to the tube.

  • Publication number: 20240281726
Abstract: An apparatus and method for cyber risk quantification calculated from the likelihood of a cyber-attack on the target enterprise and/or cyber ecosystem based on its security posture. The cyber-attack likelihood can be derived as a probability-based time-to-event (TTE) measure using survivor function analysis. The likelihood probability measure can also be passed to cyber risk frameworks to determine financial impacts of the cyber-attacks. Embodiments of the present invention also relate to an apparatus and method {1) to identify and validate application attack surfaces and protect web applications against business logic-based attacks, sensitive data leakage and privilege escalation attacks; and/or {2) that protects web applications against business logic-based attacks, sensitive data leakage and privilege escalation attacks. This can include implementing an intelligent learning loop using artificial intelligence that creates an ontology-based knowledge base from application request and response sequences.

  • Publication number: 20240281296
Abstract: Computer systems and computer-implemented methods are configured to assign limited resources such as cloud or other computing resources to objects such as networks of computers having demands for the resources. Efficiencies are optimized by assigning the objects based upon an intra-network score and an inter-network score, both of which may include an associated network density and/or an associated metric, and may be based on information received from electronic records. The metric may be a parameter relating to a factor or other characteristic that is desired to be optimized by the assignments. For example, the metric may be related to costs of communications between the computers of a network.

  • Patent number: 12067562
Abstract: Described herein is a secure system and methods for enabling a user to remotely generate a token to be used in a transaction. In the disclosure, the user may provide a mobile device identifier to a resource provider to complete a transaction. A service provider, upon receiving the mobile device identifier, may generate a message to be transmitted to a mobile device associated with that mobile device identifier that includes details of the transaction to be complete. Upon receiving the message, the user may be asked to elect a token service installed on the mobile device with which the transaction should be completed. This token service may be used to authenticate the user and subsequently generate or provide the requested token. The service provider computer may then use the generated token to complete the transaction.
