  • Publication number: 20240291839
Abstract: Remote services, such as security services, are onboarded for a tenant in a multi-tenant environment, such as a cloud-based electronic mail tenant, by configuring the tenant to permit remote access to local resources used at the tenant to facilitate the remote security services. Mail flow rules associated with the multi-tenant environment govern how electronic mail is handled in the environment. For example, mail flow rules may be used to divert inbound and/or outbound electronic mail through a mail security service. Changes to the mail flow rules are monitored and analyzed to determine whether such changes are valid (e.g., not unsafe or tampered with) to support secure management of electronic mail traffic. If a change to a mail flow rule is determined to not be valid, an action may be performed, such as deleting, disabling, or reverting the change.

  • Publication number: 20240291789
Abstract: Remote services, such as security services, are onboarded for a tenant in a multi-tenant environment, such as a cloud-based electronic mail tenant, by configuring the tenant to permit remote access to local resources used at the tenant to facilitate the remote security services. As a significant advantage, this permits use of the remote security services with cloud-based enterprise resources hosted on the tenant, e.g., an enterprise mail server handling inbound and/or outbound electronic mail traffic, without requiring changes to the tenant's network configuration. As an additional advantage, security risks associated with the remote access may be confined to the specific tenant in the multi-tenant environment by creating a unique key for exchanging data between the tenant and the remote security services.

  • Publication number: 20240289201
Abstract: Cloud application fault detection is described. At an observability framework implemented by a processor, log files associated with applications are received, wherein the log files are automatically streamed from at least one log directory. A template is applied to the log files automatically streamed from the at least one log directory as the log files are received to identify faults of the applications associated with the log files. The log files automatically streamed from the at least one log directory are processed as the log files are received based on the faults to generate an error message identifying the faults of the applications associated with the log files.

  • Patent number: 12073619
Abstract: Techniques for label recognition and notification for streaming video from non-overlapping cameras. A stream processing service of a provider network receives a first video stream from a first camera-equipped electronic device via an API endpoint of the stream processing service. The stream processing service also receives a second video stream from a second camera-equipped electronic device an API endpoint of the stream processing service. Meanwhile, a request for label recognition and notification is received at a computer vision service of the provider network via an API endpoint of the computer vision service. In response, the computer vision service recognizes a label in a video fragment of the first camera video stream and recognizes a label in a video fragment of the second camera video stream, and then identifies whether the two labels are the same label. If so, a notification service of the provider network sends a notification indicating that the label was recognized across non-overlapping cameras.
