Abstract: A programmable memory device includes a read only memory (ROM) block to store instructions associated with functionality of the programmable memory device. The device includes a memory array having a set of reserved pages to store updates to be performed on the ROM block. The device includes a controller coupled to the ROM block and the memory array. The controller is to execute the instructions to: execute a set features command; program, in execution of the set features command, a set of sub-feature parameters to a specified feature address of the set of reserved pages, wherein the set of sub-feature parameters are to trigger operation within a ROM-emulated memory (REM) profile mode; and program a REM-profiled page of the set of reserved pages with REM data received from a host system.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for identifying and linking communicating devices using live camera data includes: identifying a visible device that is visible to a linking device; identifying a connected device that is connected to the linking device; determining visible movement of the visible device; requesting video information from the connected device; calculating, using the video information, video movement of the connected device; determining that the visible movement matches the video movement; concluding, based on the determining, that the visible device is the connected device; and linking, based on the concluding, the visible device and the connected device.

Abstract: A method of augmenting a telecommunications call, the method comprising: detecting a telecommunications call event at a user telecommunications device; selecting an item of media content, the item of media content being associated with the calling party; augmenting the call with the item of media content; detecting a user interaction with the device in response to the item of media content; and transmitting information relating to the user interaction to the calling party.

Abstract: A system and method for configuring an application is described. The system identifies user collaboration data of users of an application. The user collaboration data indicates durations of collaborations between one or more users using the application. The system computes an influencer score of a first user based on the duration of collaborations between the first user and the other users. The system determines that the influencer score of the first user exceeds an influencer score threshold and generates a configuration setting of the application for the first user. The system applies the configuration setting to the application for the first user.

Abstract: A computer-implemented tracking method and system that accesses images of a three-dimensional space captured by a stereo camera is presented. The method generates a three-dimensional computer model of the space, generates a two-dimensional semantic map of the space based on the three-dimensional computer model, receives user criteria via a user interface that includes a presentation of a room map, and extracts visitor tracks in the space of interest from the images and determining if the user criteria is fulfilled. The method and system generates statistics pertaining to behavior or users in a space, such as a museum or a store.

Abstract: A delicate tissue retraction system for use with a navigation probe having a probe shaft and a probe tip at a distal end of the probe shaft. The delicate tissue retraction system includes a retractor and an introducer that is removably installed within the retractor. The introducer has a wall forming a hollow channel extending from a proximal introducer end to a distal introducer end. A mount is integrally formed with the introducer and extends from the distal introducer end into the channel. The mount is positioned to surround the probe tip when the navigation probe is at a fully inserted position within the introducer with the probe tip at the distal introducer end.

Abstract: Blind detection of code rates for codes with incremental shortening involves determining a decoding code rate for decoding words that are based on codewords of a code that exhibits incremental shortening over a range of code rates. Incremental shortening is a code structure or coding property according to which different numbers of bits in encoding blocks that are to be encoded are set or frozen to a fixed value, to provide the range of code rates. This property enables blind detection of a decoding code rate, without explicit signaling or prior configuration of code rates between a transmitter and a receiver.

Abstract: Systems and methods for open domain question-answering are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method of providing answers to a question includes retrieving, by a computing device, a plurality of passages relevant to a search query generating a plurality of question-passage pairs, wherein each question-passage pair includes the search query and an individual passage of the plurality of passages, and determining, using a computer model, a probability that a passage of each question-passage pair of at least some of the plurality of question-passage pairs is an answer to a question posed by the search query. The method also includes displaying, on an electronic display, a selected passage of a question-passage pair having a highest probability that the passage is the answer to the question posed by the search query.

Abstract: A system and method for identifying a user is described. The system identifies collaboration metrics based on user interaction data of users of an application from an enterprise. The system accesses enterprise organizational data of the enterprise and identifies topic data from the user interaction data and the enterprise organizational data. The system trains a machine learning model based on the collaboration metrics, the enterprise organizational data, and the topic data.

Abstract: The disclosed system links an individual dataset to a database. The system receives a target individual dataset associated with a target individual and identifies candidate individual datasets that are potentially related to the target individual dataset. The system identifies a related individual dataset that has data bits that match some data bits in the target individual dataset. The system then identifies a parent node that is a common parent node to both the target individual dataset and the related individual dataset. The system retrieves a data tree that the parent node belongs to with the data tree containing information describing inter-relationships among datasets in the data tree. A node in the data tree is identified to assign the target individual dataset based on strings of matched data bits and number of the matched strings between the target individual dataset and the datasets in the data tree.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to magnetic liquid particles, and methods for using the magnetic liquid particles. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to magnetic liquid particles having antimicrobial properties. The particles can comprise a liquid metal core comprising a liquid gallium or alloy thereof, and a plurality of magnetic iron particles; and an inorganic passivation layer encapsulating the liquid metal core. The particles can be used for disrupting a biofilm. The particles can also be used for the treatment of biofilm related diseases.

Abstract: A diaper changing apparatus that restrains an infant, child, or special need individual in a way that aids the caregiver's ability to manipulate his or her position and orientation to provide access to the diaper area during diaper changing activities. The apparatus allows the caregiver to easily lift the legs and buttocks, providing access to the underside of the infant, child, or special need individual for diaper changing activities. In some embodiments, adjustments to the height of the legs and buttocks and the separation of the legs may be made during a diaper change by moving a restraint of the apparatus in the direction of the desired adjustment. Some embodiments aid a caregiver by restraining the arms, chest, or torso to prevent the infant, child, or special needs individual from interfering with the diaper change, but without immobilizing him so much that the caregiver cannot easily adjust his position.

The terminal includes a mating pin at a front of the terminal and a cable connector at a rear of the terminal. The mating pin is positioned in the terminal channel for mating with a charging connector. The power connector includes a power cable including a conductor terminated to the cable connector at the rear of the terminal. The power connector includes a cable heat exchanger thermally coupled to the conductor of the power cable. The cable heat exchanger includes a coolant channel for coolant flow through the cable heat exchanger for actively cooling the conductor of the power cable. A thermally conductive separator electrically isolates the cable heat exchanger from the conductor of the power cable.
