Abstract: Disclosed are methods and apparatuses for generating sales data reports. One approach is provided for receiving time information, simulation information, and forecast parameters to generate on the fly revenue and profitability reports for past historical data and future forecasts.

An apparatus includes a substantially cube-shaped structure comprising a top side, a bottom side, a rear side, a left side, and a right side. An inside of the structure is accessible through a front side of the structure, which is open. An apparatus includes one or more joints located on each of the right side and the left side of the structure. The one or more joints allow the structure to collapse into a substantially flat shape. A power module, a microprocessor, a plurality of microphones, a plurality of cameras and a plurality of lights are coupled to and positioned in the frame. The microprocessor is operationally coupled to the power module. The microphones, cameras and lights are operationally coupled to the microprocessor. The lights are configured to illuminate a user positioned proximate to the frame. A user positioned substantially perpendicular to the inner field is positioned to view a reflection of the user. The microphones are configured to capture sounds produced proximate to the frame. The cameras are configured to capture still and moving images of a user positioned proximate to the frame.

Abstract: Methods for reducing contaminants in cocoa beans are disclosed. The method includes placing the cocoa beans in contact with an effective amount of ozone, thus reducing a level of contaminants in the cocoa beans. The contaminant may be a smoky odor, a different off odor, microbes, or combinations of any thereof. Systems for reducing contaminants in cocoa beans are also disclosed.

Abstract: A system for manufacturing a composite part. The system comprises fiber placement devices, an overhead track system, and a scheduling controller. The fiber placement devices are configured to operate in a coordinated manner to place fibers at locations on a tool used for manufacturing the composite part. The overhead track system comprises a linear track running co-axial to the tool. The overhead track system is associated with the fiber placement devices and configured to move the fiber placement devices to the locations along a length of the tool. The scheduling controller is configured to coordinate operation of the fiber placement devices such that the fiber placement devices perform tasks simultaneously to place the fibers in a desired configuration on the tool.

Abstract: A method for annealing multi-walled carbon nanotubes includes applying a high-frequency electromagnetic field to the carbon nanotubes and causing the carbon nanotubes to self-heat to a temperature and for a time effective to reduce defects and reduce a number of walls in some of the carbon nanotubes.

A subsea pipe section includes a hollow body formed from a polymer material, the hollow body having an inner surface and an outer surface, the inner surface defining an interior. The subsea pipe section further includes a reinforcement layer surrounding and bonded to the hollow body, the reinforcement layer having an inner surface and an outer surface. The reinforcement layer is formed from a fiber reinforced thermoplastic material and has a resin rich portion and a fiber rich portion. The resin rich portion includes the inner surface of the reinforcement layer and is in contact with the hollow body. The fiber rich portion is spaced from the inner surface of the reinforcement layer.

Abstract: Ballistic fabric layers are combined to form a multilayered ballistic panel which is enclosed in a thermoplastic bag which forms a waterproof layer around the ballistic panel. An outer cover has fabric sheets which may have sewn on attachments and with an inside thermoplastic coating. The ballistic panel within the thermoplastic bag is inserted within the outer cover and sewn therein. The assumably is heated and placed in a bladder press and formed to a three-dimensional shape normally conforming at least in part to the human body. The final ballistic vest or ballistic component is a thin form-fitting ballistic armor part which is waterproof without stitching through the thermoplastic inner bag and the ballistic panel.
