  • Patent number: 9685010
Abstract: Systems and methods for assessing vehicle operation are provided. According to certain aspects, an electronic device may receive and analyze image data depicting an individual located within a vehicle. The electronic device may also access and compile vehicle operation data and operator data corresponding to a state or condition of the vehicle operator. The electronic device may identify, from the vehicle operator data, a set of close misses experienced by the vehicle, correlate the set of close misses with a state or condition of the vehicle operator, and attribute at least some of the close misses to the vehicle operator. • Patent number: 9553842
Abstract: A method and apparatus of processing communications with end users are disclosed. One example method may include detecting a message or post on a website over the Internet that matches a monitoring company's keywords or rules and processing the message by parsing the message and performing a natural language interpretation of the message and processing the parsed message to determine the user's topic of interest. In response, the method may further provide generating a response to the message based on the user's requested objective and sending the response to the user acknowledging the user's topic of interest. Live agents may be notified to check the status of a message and continually override automated message responses to ensure the integrity of the responses.

  • Patent number: 9543730
Abstract: A wire singulating device includes a carrier member and a retention feature. The carrier member has a front edge and an opposite rear edge. The front edge defines an opening to a slot that extends at least partially towards the rear edge. The carrier member is configured to move relative to a wire bundle that includes plural wires such that the front edge engages the wire bundle. The slot is configured to receive one wire of the wire bundle therein. The retention feature is coupled to the carrier member and juxtaposed relative to the slot to retain the wire within the slot as the carrier member moves away from the wire bundle to separate the wire from the wire bundle.

  • Patent number: 9440657
Abstract: The method, system, and computer-readable medium cause the monitoring of a vehicle operator during the course of vehicle operation to determine whether the vehicle operator is impaired and causes a mitigating response when an impairment is determined to exist. The vehicle operator, the environment surrounding the vehicle, or forces acting on the vehicle may be monitored using a variety of sensors, including optical sensors, accelerometers, or biometric sensors (e.g., skin conductivity, heart rate, or voice modulation). When the vehicle operator is determined to be impaired, an alert or other mitigating response is implemented, based on the sensor data. In some embodiments, mitigating actions may be taken to avoid vehicle operator impairment. In further embodiments, a training period may be used to generate a profile for the vehicle operator.

  • Publication number: 20160101657
Abstract: A pneumatic tire is provided which includes an outer circumferential rubber tread and a supporting carcass. A rubber inner liner is disposed inwardly from the supporting carcass. A built-in sealant layer is situated adjacent to an innermost removable barrier layer and disposed inwardly from the rubber inner liner. The built-in sealant layer provides self-sealing properties to the pneumatic tire. The pneumatic tire, with its innermost removable barrier layer, keeps the sealant layer from sticking to a tire-building apparatus during tire assembly and, after curing of the assembled tire, is eventually removed to permit gas from the built-in sealant layer to become part of the tire's inflation air to prevent or reduce instances of inner liner blister formation.

  • Patent number: 9244901
Abstract: A method, a computer readable medium, and a system for tagging Natural language application. In the method, utterances are analyzed using one or more rules, and a tag is assigned to the analyzed utterances based on the one or more rules. The analysis of the utterances may include determining a frequency of the utterances, and grouping the utterances by their determined frequency and their assigned tag. The frequency may represent a number of occurrences in natural language where the utterances share semantic meanings, for example. Further, the one or more rules may be prioritized, and each of the utterances may be analyzed using the prioritized rules. In this manner, meaning may be assigned to utterances such that groups of utterances may be tagged simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 9232057
Abstract: A method and apparatus of processing caller experiences is disclosed. One example method may include determining a call event type occurring during a call and assigning a weight to the call event type via a processing device. The method may also include calculating a caller experience metric value representing a caller's current call status responsive to determining the at least one call event type, the caller experience metric being a function of the current event type weight and a discounting variable that discounts a value of past events. The method may also provide comparing the caller experience metric to a predefined threshold value and determining whether to perform at least one of transferring the call to a live agent and switching from a current caller modality to a different caller modality.

The top plate extends from a front of the feed track to a rear of the feed track. The top plate is configured to receive thereon a terminal strip having a plurality of terminals arranged along a carrier strip. The terminal strip is configured to be moved from the rear to the front towards a crimping zone of the terminal crimping machine. The side wall has a fixed edge above the top plate. The strip locator is coupled to the feed track. The strip locator has a rail movably coupled to a support wall. The support wall is fixed relative to the feed track. The rail is biased against the terminal strip to force the terminal strip against the fixed edge of the side wall.
