  • Patent number: 11416635
Abstract: Various examples are directed to computer-implemented systems and methods for providing a pseudonymous browsing mode. A method includes receiving, by a processor of a computer, input from a user requesting a level of anonymity for a session on an application or website, where the level of anonymity is between open browsing and completely incognito browsing. The processor programs an avatar configured to provide the level of anonymity to an identity of the user and data generated by the user based on the received input. The processor uses the avatar to control an amount of data shared by the user with the application or website to provide the level of anonymity to an identity of the user and data generated by the user.

  • Publication number: 20220253878
Abstract: A method for determining a discount for an existing loan for a student includes comparing a score for each attribute of a plurality of attributes for the student with an average score for a corresponding attribute for a group of students. A weighting for one or more of the attributes is adjusted based on the comparing of each score for the one or more attributes for the student with the average score for the one or more attributes for the group of students. The adjusted weighting for the one or more attributes for the student is used to calculate a score that determines whether the student qualifies for the loan discount.

  • Patent number: 11270374
Abstract: Systems and methods provide for usage based insurance. The insurance system can apply rental insurance based on realtime operational parameters and on a usage history of the renter so that the insurance being applied to the rental period accurately reflects the risks and costs of the device usage. Realtime operational parameters of the device can be obtained from an electronic control unit on the device. The operational parameters can include information about how the vehicle is being operated and whether or not the device is being used in an autonomous or semi-autonomous operating mode. The usage history can include prior operational parameters from previous rental periods, traffic and other regulatory violations, and other relevant information associated with the user. The usage based insurance can apply to the entire rental period, or to portions of the rental period.

  • Publication number: 20220058601
Abstract: The innovation discloses systems and methods of mirroring a User Interface (UI) of an Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) on a Display screen in a Vehicle (DIV) or mobile Device in Vehicle (DIV) of an occupant of a vehicle which stops in close proximity to the ATM for a financial transaction. The innovation can employ an App (or application) installed in the DIV, smart software installed in the ATM, and Service Support Servers (SSS) in a cloud or bank network. A Device Management Server (DMS) manages the SSS and acts as a gateway between the ATM and SSS. A multi-level (e.g., three level) authentication/authorization can be employed whereby 1) the DIV and ATM are verified and connected to a secure network, 2) the user is verified, and 3) the dispersal of funds into the cabin of the vehicle is authorized.
