  • Patent number: 12203356
Abstract: Processes to receive user input parameters and system input parameters associated with a borehole undergoing active drilling operations to continually update drilling directions with wholistically applied optimizations to bring the actual borehole trajectory closer to the planned borehole trajectory. The processes can project ahead of the drilling assembly to determine the actual trajectory of the borehole and generate corrections to reduce the gap between the actual and planned trajectory paths. Various optimizations can be applied to the corrections to avoid overstressing systems or reducing the borehole productivity. Conflicts between optimizations can be resolved using a weighting or ranking system. More than one set of corrections can be determined and a user or a machine learning system can be used to select the one set of corrections to use as the results to be communicated and applied to the drilling operation plan or a borehole system, such as a geo-steering system.

Abstract: In various examples, image-based three-dimensional occupant assessment for in-cabin monitoring systems and applications are provided. An evaluation function may determine a 3D representation of an occupant of a machine by evaluating sensor data comprising an image frame from an optical image sensor. The 3D representation may comprise at least one characteristic representative of a size of the occupant, (e.g., a 3D pose and/or 3D shape), which may be used to derive other characteristics such as, but not limited to weight, height, and/or age. A first processing path may generate a representation of one or more features corresponding to at least a portion of the occupant based on optical image data, and a second processing path may determine a depth corresponding to the one or more features based on depth data derived from the optical image data and ground truth depth data corresponding to the interior of the machine.

  • Publication number: 20250022286
Abstract: This application is directed to predicting vehicle turn and brake actions for at least partially autonomous vehicle driving. A first vehicle obtains a plurality of images along a road. For each image of the plurality of images, the first vehicle extracts, from the image, a plurality of image regions each corresponding to a respective vehicle light of a second vehicle positioned on the road near the first vehicle. The first vehicle generates, for each image, a composite image that includes the plurality of image regions. The first vehicle determines, for each image region, a probability that a respective vehicle light of the second vehicle changed its state. The first vehicle predicts a vehicle action of the second vehicle based on the probability for each image region. The first vehicle at least partially autonomously driving the first vehicle based on the predicted vehicle action of the second vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20250021480
Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, systems, and chip-containing products are disclosed, which relate to an arrangement comprising a level N cache level and a level M cache level, where M is greater than N. The level N cache level comprises a plurality of linefill slots and performs a slot allocation procedure in response to a lookup miss in dependence on a linefill slot occupancy criterion. The slot allocation procedure comprises allocation of an available slot of the plurality of slots to a pending linefill request generated in response to the lookup miss. The level N cache level effects a modification of the slot allocation procedure in dependence on the linefill slot occupancy criterion and is responsive to the linefill slot occupancy criterion being fulfilled to cause a linefill delegation action to be instructed to the level M cache level.
