    Abstract: A technique enables recovery of failover data used to generate one or more High Frequency Snapshots (HFSs) at a source and replicated to a target for storage and recovery. The target is illustratively an intermediary repository embodied as a long-term storage service (LTSS) configured to organize and store the HFSs as recovery points (RPs) in an object store. The LTSS stores a HFS identifier (ID), a logical offset in an object of the object store storing data of the HFS, and a logical timestamp associated with each replicated HFS as a key of a segment descriptor in a key-value database configured to store metadata describing the failover data of the HFS stored as one or more objects in the object store. Upon recovery of the failover data, the technique enables identification of the HFS stored in the object store and creation of a HFS index metadata structure (B+ tree) to extract the identified HFS as a RP.

The method additional comprises generating a probe response to include the rules regarding associating with the second network, wherein the rules do not permit uncontrolled communications over the second network. The method further comprises transmitting the probe response from the first access point to the station over the first network.

The DMS may store the improved version of the query. The DMS may retrieve the improved version of the query in response to receiving a second instance of the query. The DMS may execute the improved version of the query after retrieving the improved version from storage to obtain, from the database, second information that is responsive to the query.

The trusted agent securely commands the I/O device to enter a trusted I/O mode, securely commands the I/O device to set a global lock on configuration registers, receives configuration data from the I/O device, and provides the configuration data to a trusted execution environment. In the trusted I/O mode, the I/O device rejects a configuration command if a configuration register associated with the configuration command is locked and the configuration command is not received from the trusted agent. The trusted agent may provide attestation information to the trusted execution environment. The trusted execution environment may verify the configuration data and the attestation information. The restricted landscape periodically polls and checks for any replicate package job for targeted for it. If any targeted replicate package jobs are discovered by polling, the restricted landscape will pull the job details to create a new replicate package job in its own (restricted) landscape. Under this approach, even though the replicate package job was initiated in the first landscape, it will be executed in the restricted landscape, thereby conforming to any governing regulations.
