Abstract: Provided is a winch apparatus including two exchangeable and interchangeable gears connecting a motor to a drum, the drum being operative to extend and retract a flexible line. By exchanging and interchanging the gears to effect a change in the ratio of the diameters of the first gear to the second gear, the torque and the linear speed of the flexible line are adjustable, permitting the same winch apparatus to move heavier loads at lower speeds, or lighter loads at higher speeds.

Abstract: A method and system may receive a request to configure a computing resource, such as a load balancer or firewall based on configuration information received from a user via a web portal. The configuration information may be stored and a subsequent request to commit the stored configuration information may be received. One or more jobs may be queued in a jobs database based on the request to commit the configuration information. The one or more jobs may be dequeued by a workflow engine and executed to configure the computing resource.

Abstract: A system and method for appraisal adjustments scoring rates the quality of adjustments made by appraisers in their appraisals of real property. This is done by accessing a model adjustment database that is based on an automated valuation model and a peer adjustment database that is based on an aggregate of appraiser peers in the same geographic location as the subject property. A comparison is conducted for adjustments made by the appraiser to both model adjustments and peer adjustments to determine discrepancies. When a discrepancy is larger than a threshold, a message or warning may be generated. A sales pool composition database is also accessed to determine a valuation impact of the flagged adjustments given the particular set of comparable sales selected by the appraiser. After data evaluation, a rating score is calculated for the property appraisal based on the number and severity of messages and the valuation impact.

Abstract: A suspended flying system having a load suspended by a plurality of flexible support members. The plurality of flexible support members are attached to a first rotational element attached to the load and a second rotational element attached to a support. The system also includes a motor operably connected to the first rotational element provides sufficient motion to the plurality of flexible support members to render the flexible support members visually transparent, the load being movable within a space. A method for suspending a load from visually transparent flexible support members is also disclosed.

When the pre-validating for all of the one or more computing resources is successful, one or more jobs may be queued in a jobs database based on the request to provision the one or more computing resources, dequeued by a workflow engine, and executed to configure the one or more computing resources.
