Abstract: A method of establishing affinities among jobseekers is disclosed. The method comprises monitoring jobseeker activity on a web site. The jobseekers are correlated by a job ID based on jobs for which a jobseeker applies or views. A list of job IDs is sorted, with corresponding jobseekers IDs of jobseekers who have applied for or viewed a job among the list of job IDs converted to integers and grouped by job ID. An affinity is determined among jobseekers in groups according to a formula and jobseekers having an affinity with another jobseeker greater than a predetermined value are displayed to a recruiter.

Abstract: The present invention provides for generation of prioritized search results in a limited supply system, which includes receiving a search request having search request parameters, which may be received through the Internet by a search portal and the search parameters may be the search terms submitted by the user. The present invention further includes determining one or more search result elements for the limited supply system based on the search request parameters, where each of the search result elements indicate a corresponding listing entity and calculating expression of interest (EOI) terms for each of the search result elements based on search result obligations between the limited supply system and the listing entities. Thereupon, the present invention includes prioritizing the search result terms based on the corresponding EOI terms, which may then be presented to the search requesting entity.

Abstract: A system and method for automated search engine optimization (SEO) are disclosed. The automated SEO may analyze search query logs, or a search log database to determine popular concepts/units which may be automatically utilized to optimize a site or page for search engine results. The site or page is edited based on the automated SEO. In particular, the search log database may provide a unit frequency list reflecting the popularity of various units. The more popular units that are related to the content of the page may be used in the automated SEO of the page. The unit frequency list may be compared with the existing units of a page, so that the more popular concepts within the page may be emphasized.

Abstract: An improved system and method for predictive targeting in online advertising using life stage profiling is provided. A life stage profiling engine may be provided in an embodiment for generating a life stage profile for a user. A life stage profile may include a collection of events or a distribution of characteristics that may represent a life stage of a taxonomy of life stages that may be generated from online or offline events. The events and attributes may be categorized and assigned a probability that a user may belong to a particular life stage, and the life stage of a user may be determined using the assigned probabilities, for instance, by applying naïve Bayesian techniques. Predictive targeting may be applied, either online or offline, using life stage profiles to target users for receiving advertising, content, ecommerce offers or other electronic communications.

The modification rate can be calculated by dividing the number of the one or more modifications by the number of the plurality of job listings posted by the recruiter. A recruiter profile can be tagged with a high modification indicator if the calculated modification rate is higher than a predetermined modification threshold.
