  • Publication number: 20180275748
Abstract: Optimizations are provided for late stage reprojection processing for a multi-layered scene. A multi-layered scene is generated. Late stage reprojection processing is applied to a first layer and different late stage reprojection processing is applied to a second layer. The late stage reprojection processing that is applied to the second layer includes one or more transformations that are applied to the second layer. After the late stage reprojection processing on the various layers is complete, a unified layer is created by compositing the layers together. Then, the render the unified layer is rendered.

  • Publication number: 20180276824
Abstract: Optimizations are provided for late stage reprojection processing for a multi-layered scene. A scene is generated, which is based on a predicted pose of a portion of a computer system. A sub-region is identified within one of the layers and is isolated from the other regions in the scene. Thereafter, late stage reprojection processing is applied to that sub-region selectively/differently than other regions in the scene that do not undergo the same late state reprojection processing.

  • Publication number: 20180259720
Abstract: The nozzle includes a nozzle body having a front end with a recess defining a recessed wall. The recess is elongate in a first direction. The recess receives a front-end section of a ferrule of a multi-fiber connector to define gap, wherein the front-end section has an elongate end face. The nozzle has first and second channels that are elongate in the first direction and have respective first and second front-end openings at the recessed wall. The first and second front-end openings are spaced apart in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. A cleaning fluid flows from the first channel into the gap and then out the second channel, including over the ferrule end faces and end faces of optical fibers supported by the ferrule. A flow-disrupting feature on the recessed wall generates turbulent flow to enhance cleaning.

  • Publication number: 20180234297
Abstract: A method and apparatus of a network element that installs a control plane data rule from system memory to specialized hardware memory in a network element is described. In an exemplary embodiment, the network element receives control plane data processing statistics of control plane data that is received by the network element, where the control plane data is policed using a plurality of control plane data policing rules stored in the system memory. The network element further determines that a candidate policing rule is being utilized greater than a threshold based on at least the control plane data processing statistics, where the candidate policing rule is one of the plurality of control plane data policing rules stored in the system memory. The network element additionally installs the candidate policing rule in the specialized hardware memory, where the candidate policing rule is subsequently used by the network element to police the control plane data.
