  • Patent number: 12046430
Abstract: A switch that includes a droplet capable of spreading between two conductors to allow them to be coupled when a voltage is applied. The droplet can be enclosed by a cap that is bonded to a wafer that the droplet is placed upon, and include metallic properties. The cap can create a cavity that may be filled by a fluid, gas, or vapor. The cavity can have multiple conductors that extend partially or fully through it. The droplet can couple the conductors when specific voltages, or frequencies are applied to them. At the specific voltage and frequency, the droplet can spread, allowing at least two conductors to be coupled.

  • Patent number: 12045239
Abstract: A device detects a trigger to toggle from a local mode to a query mode, the trigger detected based on input into a notebook interface relating to a dataframe. The device receives input of a query into a cell within the notebook interface, the query relating to the dataframe, and determines, based on having entered the query mode, to combine the query with a prior query from a prior cell within the notebook interface, resulting in generation of an combined query. The device executes the combined query with respect to a data warehouse, receives a command to perform a function with respect to the combined query, and determines, based on characteristics of the command, to execute the command using memory of the notebook interface. The device outputs, using the notebook interface, a graphical representation of results of the command, the results informed by the combined query.

  • Publication number: 20240241746
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to devices and methods for creating one or more proxy devices in a guest device mirroring the devices hosted by a host device. The proxy devices may provide full device access functionality to applications running in the guest device. The devices and methods may load a proxy driver inside the guest device, which communicates with the host device. When applications running on the guest device interact with the proxy devices, the proxy driver communicates the interaction to the host device, which communicates with the device driver managing the device. The devices and methods allow applications running on the host and applications running on the guest to shares access to the same device.

  • Publication number: 20240173614
Abstract: A wheel lock device for roller skates is disclosed. The device comprises two loops connected by a flexural section, defining two apertures wherein the wheels of the roller skate are placed. The flexural section, made of an elastic material, allows the device to be stretched and fitted over the wheels. The device may include inner or outer chocks proximate to the loops to prevent rolling. Overhangs extending from the inner wall of the aperture prevent the device from sliding off the wheels. Inner and outer pull tabs provide improved grip for installation and removal. The device may have a closed face to protect the wheels from debris. The device is a monolithic structure made of a flexible material, allowing for adaptability to different skate configurations.

  • Publication number: 20240168273
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure disclose methods and systems for actively monitoring an opto-fluidic instrument for vibrational disturbances and correcting images obtained during the detected disturbances. In various embodiments, an optical imaging system may acquire Z-stack images of samples supported by an XY-stage. Vibrations can cause individual stacks to be sheared, i.e., to not be co-located with respect to neighboring Z-stacks. In various embodiments, an offset between the measured positions and the expected positions of the sheared stacks may be computed, and a determination as to whether to correct or reacquire the Z-stack images may be made based at least in part on the computed offset.

  • Publication number: 20240127819
Abstract: Modern automatic speech recognition (ASR) systems can utilize artificial intelligence (AI) models to service ASR requests. The number and scale of AI models used in a modern ASR system can be substantial. The process of configuring and reconfiguring hardware to execute various AI models corresponding to a substantial number of ASR requests can be time consuming and inefficient. Among other features, the described technology utilizes batching of ASR requests, splitting of the ASR requests, and/or parallel processing to efficiently use hardware tasked with executing AI models corresponding to ASR requests. In one embodiment, the compute graphs of ASR tasks are used to batch the ASR requests. The corresponding AI models of each batch can be loaded into hardware, and batches can be processed in parallel. In some embodiments, the ASR requests are split, batched, and processed in parallel.
