Patent number: 11460432Abstract: A method and apparatus extend the measurement life of a working electrode in a three-electrode amperometric sensor by applying an activation sequence of voltages and a measurement sequence of voltages to the input of a potentiostat. The activation sequence includes multiple cycles wherein each cycle includes a low (more negative) voltage and a high (more positive) voltage (e.g., 0 volts) with reference to a signal ground reference. In one mode, the measurement sequence includes multiple cycles of three voltage pulses, wherein each cycle includes a measurement voltage pulse followed by a high (more positive) pulse, followed by a low (more negative) pulse. The cycles are repeated N times. In a second mode, the measurement sequence comprises a fixed measurement voltage having selectable duration.Type: GrantFiled: September 8, 2020Date of Patent: October 4, 2022Assignee: Halogen Systems, Inc.Inventors: Michael A. Patent number: 11408231Abstract: A roller reamer for downhole operations in boreholes, such as are drilled for oil and/or natural gas production, or as injection wells. An elongated main body has preferably three circumferentially spaced pockets. A roller assembly is preferably disposed in each pockets, the roller rotating in roller blocks at each end of the roller disposed within the roller blocks. Mating locking profiles, such as dovetails, lock the roller blocks within the pockets, as the roller blocks are moved longitudinally into the locking profiles, preventing any radially outward movement of the roller assembly. The roller assembly is prevented from longitudinal movement within the pockets by lock blocks also positioned within the pockets.Type: GrantFiled: June 22, 2017Date of Patent: August 9, 2022Assignee: HOLE OPENER CORPORATION, INTERNATIONALInventors: Jonathan Adam Moore, Paden Joseph Alleman

Publication number: 20220163375Abstract: An augmented reality-based acoustic analysis method includes identifying structural elements of a space and determining structural parameters of the structural elements and a structural parameter of the space. The method further includes displaying, by an augmented reality (AR) device, a virtual lighting fixture model on a viewport of the AR device, where the virtual lighting fixture model is overlaid on a real-time image of the space. The method also includes determining, by the AR device, a sound reverberation time of the space based on at least a sound absorption parameter associated with the virtual lighting fixture model and a sound absorption parameter of the space determined based on the structural parameters of the structural elements and the structural parameter of the space.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 19, 2020Publication date: May 26, 2022Inventors: SOHANA KARIM ARNI, PARTH JOSHI, NAM CHIN CHO, ADAM MOORE FOY, KENNETH WALMA

Publication number: 20220048599Abstract: A water flow deflection device to enhance a watercraft's wake. An elongated base with two ends is aligned along the side of the watercraft. The base has a deflector interface with concentrically arranged teeth. A deflector assembly is operably attached to the base between the two ends, with a face that deflects water. The deflector's leading end is closer to the watercraft than the trailing end. The deflector assembly has a base interface with concentrically arranged teeth. Two or more suction cup assemblies attach to the elongated base to provide removable attachment, with one attached between a first end and the deflector interface and another attached between a second end and the deflector interface. The concentrically arranged teeth of the deflector interface and the base interface operably interlock, allowing rotational adjustment of the deflector relative to the base.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 26, 2021Publication date: February 17, 2022Inventors: Adam Moore, Joseph Couture
