Patent number: 12182912Abstract: An apparatus includes a processor configured to receive, during editing of a first design, user input indicating that a first design element has a first content role. The processor is configured to generate a content signature of the first design indicating that the first design element has the first content role, to generate a second design based on a design template, and to update the second design by applying the content signature to the second design. Generating the second design includes, based on determining that the design template includes a second design element having the first content role, adding a third design element having the first content role to the second design. Applying the content signature to the second design includes transferring content from the first design element to the third design element. The processor is configured to generate a graphical user interface including an image of the second design.Type: GrantFiled: April 15, 2020Date of Patent: December 31, 2024Assignee: CANVA PTY LTDInventors: William Radford, Melanie Joy Perkins, Tristan Martin, Sam Parkinson, Stanislav Salnikov, Adam Schuck, Lynneal Santos

Publication number: 20240262500Abstract: A universal maritime craft aerial delivery system (UMCADS) is an airdrop system that enables the delivery, by parachute from military transport aircraft, of a multitude of surface and subsurface marine craft. The UMCADS can be used to deploy marine craft that will be manned on splash down and unmanned autonomous marine craft that could be operational immediately on landing. The UMCADS allows air cargo crews to assemble an air cargo transport platform from standard, modular components, reposition sub-assemblies and swap them out to accommodate a wide range of marine craft without the need to redesign the platform or recourse to the manufacturer. Incorporating actuators that do not require manual positioning by personnel beneath the platform during loading improves safety. A proven single point release system triggered by the actuator releases the platform from the marine craft after the marine craft and platform have left the delivery aircraft.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 7, 2023Publication date: August 8, 2024Inventors: Stephen Parkinson, Adam J. Publication number: 20240122276Abstract: Aspects herein are directed to an apparel item that promotes thermo-regulation through the use of engineered openings, venting, and/or stand-off structures. In exemplary aspects, 20-45% of the apparel item may comprise the engineered openings. Vents may be positioned on the apparel item in areas that experience high amounts of air flow to help channel air into the apparel item. The stand-off structures may be positioned on an inner-facing surface of the apparel item where they help to create a space between the apparel item and the wearer's body surface in which air can flow and help cool the wearer by promoting evaporative cooling.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 8, 2023Publication date: April 18, 2024Inventors: Collin Bailey, Kim D. Baschak, Olivia A. Echols, Stacey L. Hansen, Lucas Hartman, Rebecca P. Hurd, Adam Parkinson, Shannon K. Redell, David Sagan, Susan L. Sokolowski, Stuart B. Brown, Matthew J. Hancock

Patent number: 11284651Abstract: An article having a panel and a trim piece. The panel may have at least a first panel edge, an outer surface, and a plurality of integrally-formed flaps that extend from the outer surface. The trim piece may be affixed to the panel proximate the first panel edge and may secure an end portion of at least one of the plurality of integrally-formed flaps between the trim piece and the outer surface of the panel. A plurality of panels may form, or be secured to, a garment in different orientations. Each of the plurality of panels may be separated by one or more trim pieces.Type: GrantFiled: January 10, 2017Date of Patent: March 29, 2022Assignee: NIKE, Inc.Inventor: Adam Parkinson

Patent number: 10595568Abstract: A breast cup for a support garment is provided. The breast cup includes a support cup portion, a first gusset extending between an upper-lateral quadrant and a lower-lateral quadrant of the support cup portion, and a second gusset extending between an upper-medial quadrant and a lower-medial quadrant of the support cup portion. The first and second gussets may both comprise a lower modulus of elasticity than the support cup portion and may be configured to expand from a first configuration to a second configuration. When integrated into a support garment, the breast cup may be coupled to an under band portion via a lower gusset that is configured to expand from a first configuration to a second configuration. When worn, the first and second gussets and the lower gusset facilitate a comfortable and supportive fit as the shape of a wearer's breast changes due to adjustments in tension.Type: GrantFiled: May 18, 2018Date of Patent: March 24, 2020Assignee: NIKE, Inc.Inventor: Adam Parkinson
