  • Publication number: 20250025636
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a drug delivery device for setting and dispensing doses of a liquid drug. The device comprises a housing and a dose setting and drive mechanism with a dose setting member. The dose setting and drive mechanism is, at least partially, arranged within the housing and is configured to perform a dose setting operation for selecting a dose to be delivered by the drug delivery device by moving the dose setting member relative to the housing and a dose delivery operation for delivering the set dose by axially displacing the dose setting member along an axis. The maximum radial extension perpendicular to the axis of the dose setting member is smaller than the maximum radial extension of a region of the housing located adjacent to the dose setting member.

  • Patent number: 12204095
Abstract: A system and method are provided for simulating circuits that transmit bidirectional signals between some ports using simulators designed originally for electrical circuits and systems, that eliminate the need for different port interfaces. The system and method can be applied to simulate photonic circuits either standalone or integrated with electrical circuits and systems. In one method implemented by the system potential and flow representations, available for example in Verilog-A simulators, are used to create bidirectional signals on a single bus line to transmit optical signals. In another method implemented by the system, the system auto-configures each optical port type as left or right at runtime or during a pre-simulation initialization to allow for bidirectional signals with a single port interface.

  • Publication number: 20250018126
Abstract: The present disclosure refers to a drug delivery device for setting and dispensing doses of a liquid drug which may be used together with a module for detecting the amount of a dose selected and/or delivered. The device comprises a housing and a dose setting and drive mechanism with a dose setting member. The dose setting and drive mechanism is configured to perform a dose setting operation for selecting a dose to be delivered by rotating the dose setting member relative to the housing and a dose delivery operation for delivering the set dose by pushing the dose setting member axially towards the housing without relative rotation therebetween. The dose setting member comprises a set of axially directed stop teeth formed at its distal end which are configured to engage with a set of counterstop teeth located on the housing at the end of the dose delivery operation.

  • Publication number: 20250014706
Abstract: Systems and methods may be provided that may enable an individual to retrieve one or more prescription products (e.g., product refills) from a self-service retrieval location such as a counter, drive-thru, drop box, or kiosk. The individual may identify a medical prescription, and a unique-machine readable code may be generated, wherein the code is associated with the medical prescription and a particular station at an identified retrieval location. The unique machine-readable code may be transmitted to a computing device of the individual, who may scan the code at particular station to retrieve one or more prescription products associated with the medical prescription.

  • Publication number: 20240416193
Abstract: A shim or badge is affixed to a golf cub body to produce a cap-back iron, giving the appearance of a hollow-body iron. In this way, the golf club can be manufactured with the performance benefits of a game improvement iron, while providing the appearance of a blade, player's iron, and/or a hollow-body iron. For example, by using a lightweight and rigid shim or badge to close a cavity opening and extend into the toe portion of the golf club body, the golf club head can provide increased stiffness in the topline, while lowering CG. Various shim or badge arrangements and materials can be used, and a filler material and/or damper can be included within the cavity to improve sound and feel, while minimizing loss in COR.

  • Patent number: 12165216
Abstract: To extract information from a customer's insurance card, an insurance policy recordation system obtains a scanned image of an insurance card and analyzes text in the insurance card image to identify labels describing insurance policy characteristics and insurance policy values corresponding to the insurance policy characteristics. The insurance policy recordation system compares the identified insurance policy values to a set of stored identifiers associated with various insurance plans. If the insurance policy values match one or more of the identifiers, the insurance policy recordation system may determine that the insurance policy values are valid and that the customer has the matching insurance plan. The insurance policy recordation system may obtain additional insurance policy information for the customer based on the stored information in association with the matching insurance plan.

  • Publication number: 20240395277
Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure are directed toward digital signal processing using machine-learned differentiable digital signal processors. For example, embodiments of the present disclosure may include differentiable digital signal processors within the training loop of a machine-learned model (e.g., for gradient-based training). Advantageously, systems and methods of the present disclosure provide high quality signal processing using smaller models than prior systems, thereby reducing energy costs (e.g., storage and/or processing costs) associated with performing digital signal processing.

  • Publication number: 20240391815
Abstract: A combustion burner employed in a submerged combustion vessel used to melt high index glass includes an arch positioned on a burner in the submerged combustion vessel. An amount of combustible gas flows through a first port disposed in a first haunch of the arch and through a second port disposed in a second haunch of the arch. Fuel is supplied through an end port in a fuel supply line. The end port is disposed under the arch. An amount of glass is fed into the submerged combustion vessel and is melted inside the submerged combustion vessel by igniting the burner. Some of the melted glass at least partially solidifies against a wall of the submerged combustion vessel such that the melted glass is contained in a vessel of itself.
