  • Patent number: 12234039
Abstract: Methods for a reusable space vehicle to land at substantially the same location as its launching site. The vehicle traveling in a particular orbit, which is a repeating ground track orbit, allows for launching and landing at the same location once per day. The repeating ground track orbits that allow for launching and landing at the same location once per day overfly the launch and landing site once per day. Launching and landing at the same site provides a number of direct advantages. For example, the just-landed vehicle may be transported a relatively short distance to the launch site, reconditioned relatively quickly, and be ready for a quick turn-around launch.

  • Publication number: 20250037404
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method of intermingling stereoscopic and conforming virtual content to a bounded surface is performed at a device that includes one or more processors, non-transitory memory, and one or more displays. The method includes displaying a bounded surface within a native user computer-generated reality (CGR) environment, wherein the bounded surface is displayed based on a first set of world coordinates characterizing the native user CGR environment. The method further includes displaying a first stereoscopic virtual object within a perimeter of a first side of the bounded surface, wherein the first stereoscopic virtual object is displayed in accordance with a second set of world coordinates that is different from the first set of world coordinates characterizing the native user CGR environment.

  • Patent number: 12204095
Abstract: A system and method are provided for simulating circuits that transmit bidirectional signals between some ports using simulators designed originally for electrical circuits and systems, that eliminate the need for different port interfaces. The system and method can be applied to simulate photonic circuits either standalone or integrated with electrical circuits and systems. In one method implemented by the system potential and flow representations, available for example in Verilog-A simulators, are used to create bidirectional signals on a single bus line to transmit optical signals. In another method implemented by the system, the system auto-configures each optical port type as left or right at runtime or during a pre-simulation initialization to allow for bidirectional signals with a single port interface.

  • Publication number: 20250018126
Abstract: The present disclosure refers to a drug delivery device for setting and dispensing doses of a liquid drug which may be used together with a module for detecting the amount of a dose selected and/or delivered. The device comprises a housing and a dose setting and drive mechanism with a dose setting member. The dose setting and drive mechanism is configured to perform a dose setting operation for selecting a dose to be delivered by rotating the dose setting member relative to the housing and a dose delivery operation for delivering the set dose by pushing the dose setting member axially towards the housing without relative rotation therebetween. The dose setting member comprises a set of axially directed stop teeth formed at its distal end which are configured to engage with a set of counterstop teeth located on the housing at the end of the dose delivery operation.

  • Publication number: 20240416193
Abstract: A shim or badge is affixed to a golf cub body to produce a cap-back iron, giving the appearance of a hollow-body iron. In this way, the golf club can be manufactured with the performance benefits of a game improvement iron, while providing the appearance of a blade, player's iron, and/or a hollow-body iron. For example, by using a lightweight and rigid shim or badge to close a cavity opening and extend into the toe portion of the golf club body, the golf club head can provide increased stiffness in the topline, while lowering CG. Various shim or badge arrangements and materials can be used, and a filler material and/or damper can be included within the cavity to improve sound and feel, while minimizing loss in COR.

  • Patent number: 12165216
Abstract: To extract information from a customer's insurance card, an insurance policy recordation system obtains a scanned image of an insurance card and analyzes text in the insurance card image to identify labels describing insurance policy characteristics and insurance policy values corresponding to the insurance policy characteristics. The insurance policy recordation system compares the identified insurance policy values to a set of stored identifiers associated with various insurance plans. If the insurance policy values match one or more of the identifiers, the insurance policy recordation system may determine that the insurance policy values are valid and that the customer has the matching insurance plan. The insurance policy recordation system may obtain additional insurance policy information for the customer based on the stored information in association with the matching insurance plan.
