  • Publication number: 20200117446
Abstract: A system and method may provide assistance to programmers during programming to reduce the number of routine tasks that must be performed. In some aspects, the system may provide for searching a corpus of source code based on keyword or natural language search input. Search results including code entities and snippets of code that are described by the search input are then provided as search results. Some embodiments relate to using a neural network encoder to generate tensor embeddings of source code and related text in a joint tensor space. Relatedness between embeddings in this joint tensor space for text and associated source code is used in some embodiments to facilitate code search.

  • Publication number: 20200097261
Abstract: A system and method may provide assistance to programmers during programming to reduce the number of routine tasks that must be performed. In some aspects, the system may suggest one or more code snippets that comprise code completions. The code snippets may be single or multi-token. In some aspects, the system may provide predictive editing or predictive navigation, where the system may predict edits or navigation actions based on a programmer's actions. • Publication number: 20200086550
Abstract: A structural assembly (900) and method of fabricating the same, the method comprising: providing a first member (204) comprising a bond surface (800) and a plurality of protrusions (802) extending from the bond surface (800), a length of each of the protrusions (802) from the bond surface (800) being less than or equal to 2 mm; providing a second member (202) comprising a fibre-reinforced composite material, the fibre-reinforced composite material comprising a plurality of elongate fibres (902) embedded in a polymer matrix (904); while the polymer matrix (904) is in its plastic state, forcing the second member (202) against the bond surface (800) and the protrusions (802) so as to cause the second member (202) to form onto the bond surface (800) and the protrusions (802); and thereafter causing the polymer matrix (904) to harden, thereby fixing the first member (204) to the bond surface of the second member (202).

  • Publication number: 20200048025
Abstract: A system for dispensing a web of two-ply laminating material includes a container in which a web of material is positioned. The web material has a first side edge along which a first ply and a second ply of the laminating material are connected. The first and second plies of the material are not connected at a second side edge of the material. An inwardly-facing surface of the first ply includes an adhesive coating. A distance between the first and second side edges defines a width of the material that is shorter than a length of the material. The opening in the container has a dimension greater than or equal to the width such that the material can be withdrawn from the container through the opening.

  • Publication number: 20200002906
Abstract: An expansion joint sealing system for bridging and sealing a gap located between two spaced-apart structural deck members. The expansion joint sealing system includes an elastomeric seal member and a substantially rigid plate member. The elastomeric seal member is fixedly attached to an underlying structural deck member and is able to expand and contract in the longitudinal direction in relation to the traffic direction across the expansion joint. The rigid plate is not fastened to the elastomeric seal member with mechanical fasteners or other fastening means, but is slidingly engaged with the elastomeric seal member through an elongated guide member. As the rigid plate member is not fastened to the elastomeric seal member, it is able to move along a guide member in a direction that is transverse to the direction of traffic across the expansion joint.

  • Publication number: 20190331762
Abstract: In a method of determining the position of an object, raw image data of the sky is recorded using a celestial imaging unit. The last known position, orientation, date, and time data of the object are obtained, and the position of a celestial body is measured. A latitude and longitude of the object is determined by matching the measured celestial body position to the expected celestial body position based on the input parameters. A system for determining a new position of an object comprises a celestial imaging unit configured to record image data of the sky, a signal processing unit, and a signal processing unit configured to receive and store in memory the image data received from the celestial imaging unit. The signal processing unit filters the image to find the positions of celestial objects in the sky. The signal processing unit is further configured to use roll and pitch from an IMU, and date and time from a clock to determine the object's position (latitude and longitude).

  • Publication number: 20190311268
Abstract: A promotion value model uses deep neural networks to learn to calculate the promotion value of a commercial brand. The model determines and reports the promotion value of a plurality of electronic media files each containing at least one commercial brand indicator. The learned model identifies the electronic media files and determines at least one context for each of the at least one commercial brand indicators. Promotion value is modeled with a deep neural network that maps the context for each of the commercial brand indicators to feature vectors mapped to an input layer of the neural network. Network parameters are learned to indicate relative weighted values between transitions of the layers of the neural network.

  • Patent number: 10417258
Abstract: Displaying a visual representation of table, including generating a visual representation of a table including a plurality of dimensions, displaying the visual representation of the table, where a first dimension value corresponding to one of the plurality of dimensions is collapsed when the table is initially generated, and a second dimension value corresponding to one of the plurality of dimensions is expanded such that sub-dimension values for the first dimension value are not visible, and sub-dimension values for the second dimension value are visible, detecting that a user has placed a first dimension value manipulator corresponding to said first dimension value into an expand mode, and in response to detecting the first dimension value manipulator is in an expand mode, expanding the first dimension value in the displayed visual representation of the table such that the sub-dimension values for the first dimension value are visible.
