Abstract: Systems and methods for generating an application store metadata corresponding to a plurality of sub-applications, combining model-driven application and canvas-type applications. Lifecycle components of the plurality of sub-applications are coupled to each other using one or more data relationships defined by an embedding model and the stored metadata. The metadata points to a library associated with the plurality of sub-applications, and wherein the library comprises a newest version of one or more of the lifecycle components. The compiled plurality of sub-applications can then be run.

Abstract: Described are techniques and systems to migrate data from a first data structure to a second data structure stored in datastores which are replicated with one another. A “hot” datastore is replicated with one or more “warm” datastores. Triggers maintain consistency between the first data structure and the second data structure. Migration may involve testing using the second data structure of the “warm” datastore. Data processed by the first data structure on the “hot” datastore is distributed via replication to the “warm” datastore, and then by a trigger to the second data structure. Data processed by the second data structure on the “warm” datastore is distributed via trigger to the first data structure, and then by replication to the “hot” datastore. Once performance of the second data structure is deemed acceptable, the “warm” datastore may be designated as “hot” and synonyms therein may direct data to the second data structure.

Abstract: There is provided a method that includes matching records from a plurality of international import/export databases, to unique corporate identifiers, and merging data from the records into a global database. There is also provided a system that employs the method, and a storage device that contains instructions that cause a processor to execute the method.

Abstract: A method for generating a relevance score for at least one candidate retrieved in a search, the method comprising: initiating a query seeking at least one the candidate based upon at least one filter selected from the group consisting of: product name, product category, company name, HS code, SIC code and any other product-related qualifier; searching at least one database for matches between the candidate and the filter, thereby generating at least one matched candidate; generating an initial relevance score for each the matched candidate; generating at least one additional score for each the matched candidate, wherein the additional score is at least one selected from the group consisting of: a reputation score, a score boost, a past behavior score, a profile match score, a preference match score and a web behavior score; and generating a final relevance score based upon the initial relevance score and the at least one additional score for each the matched candidate.

Abstract: A dental instrument with arms pivotally connected for scissors pivot action between closed and open positions is disclosed. A pair of tines extends from distal ends of the arms and at least one shaping surface on one of said tines is supported so that it is operable to shape an interior surface of one of two matrix bands positioned around adjacent teeth. In use, each tine is positioned inside of adjacent matrix bands positioned around adjacent teeth. As the arms are pivoted towards the closed position, the shaping surface is moved towards the tine on which it is not supported and a clamping force is applied by the tines causing the shaping surface to shape at least one of the matrix bands.
