The method comprises: a first network-side apparatus determining first measurement information after a terminal has performed inter-system handover; and sending the determined first measurement information to a second network-side apparatus, such that the second network-side apparatus notifies, according to the first measurement information, the terminal to continue measuring a cell signal under a source system of the inter-system handover. In the method, when inter-system handover occurs, the first network-side apparatus enables the terminal to continue measuring the cell signal under the source system by means of the first measurement information, thereby determining whether the terminal has performed an unnecessary handover.

Abstract: The present application relates to the field of communications, and disclosed are a handover method, a handover device and a computer readable storage medium. In the embodiments of the present application, by means of carrying first indication information in a handover request message sent by a base station where a source cell is located to a base station where a target cell is located, a recommendation may be provided to the target cell when determining whether to establish a dual connection, so that when the current cell handover is relatively urgent, cell handover may be immediately carried out by preventing the target cell from establishing the dual connection, reducing the probability of handover failure, and improving the user experience.

The method includes receiving DAPS handover failure related information sent by a terminal; and determining a DAPS handover failure type on the basis of the DAPS handover failure related information. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, a DAPS handover failure type is determined on the basis of DAPS handover failure related information reported by a terminal, which is suitable for a situation in which both a source cell side connection and a target cell side connection may fail in a DAPS handover process, implementing mobility robustness optimization for a DAPS handover process, assisting network optimization, and improving the handover success rate.
