Publication number: 20090020922Abstract: A dope is cast onto a casting drum from a casting die while forming a casting bead. Oxygen concentration at the vicinity of the casting bead is set to 0 vol % or more and less than 10 vol %, and a static electricity applying electrode applies static electricity between the casting drum and the casting bead. An intervening film forming device supplies intervening film forming liquid onto the casting drum to form an intervening film. A compression chamber decompresses a downstream area from the casting bead. Thereby, it is possible to form the casting bead having a stable shape, and enhance the extent of adhesion between a casting film and the casting drum. Accordingly, it is possible to enhance the extent of adhesion between the casting drum and the casting bead, prevent occurrence phenomenon of air entrainment, and speed up a film forming speed, thus forming a polymer film.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 27, 2007Publication date: January 22, 2009Applicant: FUJIFILM CORPORATIONInventors: Akifumi Kato, Hidekazu Yamazaki

Patent number: 7368026Abstract: In producing a biochemical analysis unit (1), an adhesive agent (25) is applied to a base. After calcinations, the adhesive agent (25) forms an adhesive layer (25a, 25b) on a wall of each holes (3) formed in the base (2). Thereafter, an excess adhesive agent (25c) remaining on the surface of the base (2) is removed. Then, a sheet of an absorptive material (4) is set to overlap the base (2). A press roller pair (27, 28) presses them to charge the absorptive material (4) in the holes (3). Thus the absorptive material (4) is fixed in the hole (3) of the base (2) through the adhesive layer (25a, 25b).Type: GrantFiled: January 31, 2003Date of Patent: May 6, 2008Assignee: FUJIFILM CorporationInventors: Kenji Nakajima, Akifumi Kato

Publication number: 20080054515Abstract: There is provided a casting drum having an outer peripheral surface provided with an electrical insulating layer. Direct-current high voltage is applied to an electrode bar disposed in an upstream side from a discharge port to discharge toward the casting drum. Bead is attracted to the charged casting drum by electrostatic attraction. Thereby, the adhesion between the bead and the casting drum is increased, and therefore the occurrence of phenomenon of air entrainment can be prevented. A wet film obtained by peeling a casting film from the casting drum is dried. Accordingly, it is possible to produce a film having few defects such as voids and high quality such as excellent smoothness at high speed and stably.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 6, 2007Publication date: March 6, 2008Applicant: FUJIFILM CorporationInventors: Akifumi Kato, Hidekazu Yamazaki, Hitoshi Ikeda

A dryer dries the cast film stripped from the support drum, to obtain a polymer film. A voltage application device is connected with the support drum, for applying voltage to the support drum during casting of the casting device. Preferably, the support drum is electrically non-grounded, and has a surface coated with an electrical insulation film. A surface potential V of the support drum is in a range of 0.1 kV<|V|<3 kV. A decompression chamber is disposed close to a surface of the support drum, for tightening contact of the bead on the surface of the support drum.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 6, 2007Publication date: March 6, 2008Applicant: FUJIFILM CORPORATIONInventors: Akifumi KATO, Hidekazu YAMAZAKI, Hitoshi IKEDA

Publication number: 20070184483Abstract: The biochemical analysis unit has a base plate and absorptive regions. The absorptive regions are surrounded by the base plate formed of materials which shield a radioactive ray and a light. In the absorptive regions are applied and absorbed specific binding substances to be bound with substances derived from a living organism that are labeled with labeling substances for generating the radioactive ray or the light. The base plate prevents the specific binding substances from penetrating in the other absorptive regions. When an analysis of data of the radioactive ray and the light is carried out, an image of the radioactive ray and the light is generated without noises.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 6, 2007Publication date: August 9, 2007Inventors: Keiko Neriishi, Yuichi Hosoi, Katsuhiro Kohda, Masahiro Eto, Akifumi Kato, Kenji Nakajima

Publication number: 20070045896Abstract: A dope is produced from TAC and a mixture solvent whose main compound is dichloromethane. The dope is cast from a casting die onto a casting drum. In an upstream side from the casting die, a decompression chamber having air pipes is provided. The difference from the ordinate pressure to the pressure inside the decompression chamber is ?2000 Pa to ?10 Pa. An air is fed through the air pipes into the decompression chamber. Thus the pressure fluctuation in the decompression chamber is reduced, and the pressure becomes almost constant in the widthwise direction. Therefore, the entrained air and another air are prevented from entering into the decompression chamber, which makes the shape of the bead of the discharged casting dope stable. When having self-supporting properties, the casting film is peeled as a film from the casting drum and dried to be a TAC film without thickness unevenness.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 31, 2006Publication date: March 1, 2007Inventors: Akifumi Kato, Hidekazu Yamazaki
