  • Publication number: 20030153070
Abstract: In producing a biochemical analysis unit (1), an adhesive agent (25) is applied to a base. After calcinations, the adhesive agent (25) forms an adhesive layer (25a, 25b) on a wall of each holes (3) formed in the base (2). Thereafter, an excess adhesive agent (25c) remaining on the surface of the base (2) is removed. Then, a sheet of an absorptive material (4) is set to overlap the base (2). A press roller pair (27, 28) presses them to charge the absorptive material (4) in the holes (3). Thus the absorptive material (4) is fixed in the hole (3) of the base (2) through the adhesive layer (25a, 25b).

  • Patent number: 6555309
Abstract: In the case where multiple slide hopper is used for simultaneous multilayer bead coating of photosensitive material, streak defect is occasionally cause, particularly in the case of coating photothermographic material, especially when the outermost layer includes materials capable of increasing optical density such as toner it more frequently happens. It is found that streak defect is restrained when meniscus curvature of upper side bead becomes less than 7.2 mm−1. This condition can be kept by selecting a proper value of clearance between the web surface and the lip of the slide hopper, that is from 0.10 mm to 0.40 mm, and a proper value of pressure in a lower side of the bead, that is from −100 Pa to −700 Pa.

  • Publication number: 20020197568
Abstract: The biochemical analysis unit has a base plate and absorptive regions. The absorptive regions are surrounded by the base plate formed of materials which shield a radioactive ray and a light. In the absorptive regions are applied and absorbed specific binding substances to be bound with substances derived from a living organism that are labeled with labeling substances for generating the radioactive ray or the light. The base plate prevents the specific binding substances from penetrating in the other absorptive regions. When an analysis of data of the radioactive ray and the light is carried out, an image of the radioactive ray and the light is generated without noises.
