  • Publication number: 20240019062
Abstract: A handle mechanism of a piping member includes an inner member turnably attached to a pipe body and connected to a valve member in a fluid passage of the pipe body, an outer member turnably disposed outside the pipe body, and a coupling pin coupling together a first coupling end portion of the inner member and a second coupling end portion of the outer member in the direction of turning. The pipe body has a support surface located around the second coupling end portion. When a force acts on the outer member in a direction of pivoting the outer member about a pivot axis, the second coupling end portion engages the support surface, thereby allowing the outer member to be supported by the pipe body in the direction of pivoting.

  • Patent number: 11530768
Abstract: A coil spring is disposed in a fluid passage between a cylindrical body and a valve element to urge the valve element toward a closed position. The coil spring comprises a valve support portion supporting the valve element, a secured portion secured to an inner peripheral surface of the fluid passage, an expanding-contracting portion extending from the secured portion, and a connecting portion between the expanding-contracting portion and the valve support portion. The connecting portion comprises a first portion curved so as to pass radially outward of an end winding portion of the expanding-contracting portion, a second portion passing through the center of the valve support portion, a third portion extending curvedly so as to overlap the first portion, and a fourth portion extending to the valve support portion. When the coil spring is compressed, the valve support portion is supported to the expanding-contracting portion 54 through the connecting portion.

  • Patent number: 10724666
Abstract: A coupling member inhibits accidental pivoting of a lever for operating a movable member such as a chuck member or a valve. The coupling member has a chuck member mounted displaceably relative to a female coupling body between a temporarily connecting position (first position) and a connecting position (second position). The chuck member is operated by a lever that is pivotable relative to the female coupling body. When the lever is pivoted from a first pivoting position to a second pivoting position, the chuck member is displaced from the temporarily connecting position to the connecting position to connect an associated male coupling member. When the lever is in the second pivoting position, a lock member of the lever engages a lever holding member to inhibit the lever from pivoting toward the first pivoting position.

  • Patent number: 10663099
Abstract: A pipe coupling includes a male coupling member detachably connected to a female coupling member by a chuck member of the female coupling member. The chuck member is disposed radially outside of a female coupling body to extend forward beyond a front end opening. The chuck member is displaceable in a longitudinal direction and also radially displaceable between a locking position where a locking groove locks a locking projection and an unlocking position where the locking groove is displaced radially outward from the locking position to unlock the locking projection. When the chuck member is displaced rearward from a temporarily connecting position to a connecting position in a state where the locking groove has locked the locking projection in the temporarily connecting position, the chuck member draws the male coupling member into a female-side passage to connect the male coupling member to the female coupling member.

  • Patent number: 10514121
Abstract: An emergency detachable pipe coupling configured to decouple a female coupling member and a male coupling member which are coupled together when an external force makes the male coupling member tilted at a predetermined angle relative to a female coupling member. When the male coupling member is tilted, a pressing surface of the male coupling member presses a to-be-pressed surface of a locking element restraining member of the female coupling member to displace the locking element restraining member to a release position where a locking element becomes displaceable to an unlocking position.
