  • Patent number: 7029717
Abstract: A composition which is obtained by causing a specific compound to be present together with sucralose. The composition provides a sucralose in a stable form, more particularly, a sucralose which is still stable and thus is significantly suppressed with respect to the decrease in sweetness and discoloration (browning blackening), even when it is subjected to a warming treatment under a condition wherein temperature is high and especially water content is low and/or pH is low. The stabilized sucralose-containing composition can be used a sweetener by itself and as a compound with a food or a drug.

  • Patent number: 6931379
Abstract: An IC card that allows a service provider doing a business of loading an application into the IC card to dynamically load the application into the IC card safely after the issuance of the IC card without making a contract directly with a card issuer issuing the IC card and without establishing a communication with the card issuer. The card issuer issuing the IC card hands over an encryption key in advance to a third party other than the card issuer in order to entrust the third party with work to authenticate an application to be loaded or to allow the third party to function as an agent on behalf of the card issuer. The card issuer issues an agent certification to the third party to be used as evidence showing that the third party is an agent representing the card issuer.

  • Publication number: 20050137737
Abstract: An integrated circuit card operation management system and method are provided. In one example of the system, a collator system is provided for receiving a user request to determine whether the application program can be loaded, for acquiring a card policy from a card issue management system, and for acquiring an application program policy from a service provider management system. The collator system requests card related information of the card issue management system and requests application program related information of the service provider management system. The collator system specifies a definition format. The card issue management system and the service provider management system extract requested information from existent information, convert the requested information according to the specified definition format, and transmit the converted information to the collator system.

  • Publication number: 20050076212
Abstract: A system is provided which compensates a low operational performance of a conventional integrated circuit (IC) card by setting a substitute server computer between the IC card and a business server computer in a system using the IC card. Substitute processing using an authentication result is realized by setting an IC card authentication server computer in addition to the business server computer and sending an authentication result of the authentication server computer to the IC card, substitute server computer, and business server computer. Thus, because the substitute server computer does not directly authenticate the IC card, the quantity of authentication information in the substitute server computer is substantially reduced and authentication processing becomes efficient.

  • Publication number: 20050037351
Abstract: A method of separating and purifying nucleic acids from samples containing cells, such as blood and culture solutions. According to the method of the invention, a cell extract obtained by cell disruption is adsorbed by a filter made of a nonwoven fabric and the nucleic acid is eluted after washing the filter. Alkaline conditions of pH 12 or higher may be employed for elution of the nucleic acid, or the filter-adsorbed nucleic acid may be eluted by treatment with active oxygen or by using a surfactant. Nucleic acids separated and purified by the method of the invention can be used in nucleic acid amplification and nucleic acid sequence analysis techniques.

  • Patent number: 6612486
Abstract: In the case where a card issuer and a service provider are different in operating and managing a smart card for multi-application programs, when the card issuer sends a request of sending an initial load application program personalized when initially issuing the card to the service provider, the service provider can not select a proper application program and determine an object for personalizing. This is solved by assigning a unique number to the smart card issue application form for cooperating the card issuer with the service provider.

  • Publication number: 20020056079
Abstract: A method, by which if a reissued smart card is issued based on an old smart card, the application program loaded in the old smart card is smoothly reloaded in the reissued smart card, is disclosed. Its specific configuration will be described as below. A method for loading an application program in a smart card comprises the steps of: in response to a request for loading one application program for a smart card in the smart card that has been reissued based on an old smart card, judging whether or not said one application program was loaded in the old smart card, according to a relationship between a card id of the reissued smart card and a card id of the old smart card; and if it is found out that said one application program was loaded, loading said one application program in the reissued smart card.

  • Patent number: 6123734
Abstract: A method and equipment provide an extended logic simulation result which can be effectively displayed on one screen. The method of displaying a logic simulation result designates a display point in one cycle which corresponds to a clock signal and which is used in executing a logic simulation. At each cycle corresponding to the clock signal, the signal data at the display point are fetched and displayed continuously on a display unit. Efficiency of work on the display unit is enhanced by analyzing a result of a performed logic simulation during design and examination of logic circuits.

  • Patent number: 5793945
Abstract: A device for the initial-diagnosing of processors is provided with a processor module, a storage unit, an address allocation unit and a diagnostic execution unit. The processor module has a processor and a cache storage unit. The storage unit stores an initial diagnostic setting program which diagnoses the processor and the cache storage unit. The address allocation unit allocates the addresses of the processor by making the addresses of the processor correspond to the addresses of the cache storage unit so that the cache storage unit is accessed by the processor. The diagnostic execution unit reads the initial diagnostic setting program stored in the storage unit into the addresses of the cache storage unit allocated by the address allocation unit, and executes the initial diagnostic setting program.
