    Abstract: In a rotary electric machine laminated core, a rotating shaft portion is disposed closer to an outer circumferential surface than an inner circumferential surface of a back yoke portion. A notch portion is disposed on at least one of first and second end portions of the back yoke portion so as to form a gap between a vicinity of the rotating shaft portion of a projecting portion and a recess portion when core segments are arranged in an annular shape or a circular arc shape. The first end portion and the second end portion of the back yoke portion are configured such that a predetermined gap that connects from the outer circumferential side to the inner circumferential side is formed between adjacent projecting portions and recess portions when the core segments are expanded rectilinearly such that magnetic pole tooth portions are parallel to each other.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a composite hinge sheet including thermoplastic resin layers 5 made of a thermoplastic resin formed on both surfaces of a woven-fabric like sheet 3 having multiple openings therein. The woven-fabric like sheet 3 includes woven fabric or non-woven fabric made of at least one type selected from polyester, polyamide and polypropylene. The thermoplastic resin layers 5 include, as a raw material, resin having Shore A surface hardness flexibility of 85 or greater and Shore D surface hardness flexibility of less than 70. A part of the thermoplastic resin enters the openings in the woven-fabric like sheet 5, thus blocking all the openings, so that the thermoplastic resin layers 5 are integrated with the woven-fabric like sheet 3. The composite hinge sheet has excellent tearing and tensile strength, is resistant to light and heat in the binding part thereof, and has excellent resistance to repeated bending.

The multilayer laser-markable sheet for an electronic passport has excellent laser markability and high contrast, can achieve clear letters, symbols and images, and further has excellent thermal adhesiveness, transparency, sheet conveyance property, releasability from a die after thermal press, thermal resistance, foldability and wear resistance.

    Abstract: In an input tuning circuit, during reception of a television signal in the UHF band, a second tuning circuit unit is tuned to the UHF band by turning on a first switching diode, and a first tuning circuit unit is made to operate as a trap circuit in a frequency range lower than the UHF band by turning on a second switching diode. As a result, the transmission characteristics of the second tuning circuit unit become narrow and interference characteristics are improved. In addition, since a dedicated trap circuit need not be separately provided, an increase in cost is limited to a minimum and an increase in size is prevented.

    Abstract: In a flareless-type pipe joint, a pressing surface, which presses a rear end portion of a ferrule in the axial direction and toward the inner periphery of the ferrule, is formed in a joint body or a coupling member in which a cam surface is not formed. The ferrule has a groove that extends radially outward from the inner periphery. By pressing the rear end portion in the axial direction and toward the inner periphery by the pressing surface, the distal portion of the ferrule is pressed against the cam surface and an edge portion of the distal portion is deformed to bite into a pipe. An edge portion of a rear end portion of the inner peripheral surface of the ferrule is deformed to bite into the pipe.
