  • Publication number: 20050011930
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a movable core having a valve shaft, of a solenoid valve with which the movable core and the valve shaft can be easily and accurately aligned with each other. The valve shaft and the movable core are manufactured by sintering as follows. First, with a lower punch inserted in a cavity of a first mold, SUS powder having an average particle diameter of 150 micrometer is put in the cavity. The powder is compacted into a powder compact in the shape of a valve shaft by lowering an upper punch into the cavity. The first mold is slightly lowered so that the powder compact slightly protrudes from the cavity. Fe powder having an average particle diameter of 150 micrometers is put in a cavity of a second mold so as to be deposited on the powder compact in the cavity of the first mold. The upper punch is lowered to compact the powder in the second mold into a powder compact in the shape of the core. After releasing the powder compacts, they are joined together by sintering.

  • Publication number: 20050012062
Abstract: A solenoid valve includes a tubular yoke, a tubular bobbin inserted in the yoke, and a current-excitable coil wound around the bobbin. A resin fills the gap between the yoke and the coil. A core is inserted in the bobbin so as to be movable in an axial direction of the bobbin. The core carries a valve shaft having a valve body. By selectively activating the coil, the core is moved together with the valve shaft, thereby bringing the valve body into contact with and out of contact with a valve seat provided opposite the valve body. The yoke has its radially inner and/or outer surfaces roughened to increase contact surface area between the yoke and the resin, thereby speeding up conduction and thus dissipation of heat produced from the coil.

  • Publication number: 20040232817
Abstract: An electron gun includes a first focusing electrode and a second focusing electrode that are disposed so as to face each other and supplied with equal electric potentials. An electron beam passing aperture provided in at least one of a surface of the first focusing electrode facing the second focusing electrode and a surface of the second focusing electrode facing the first focusing electrode is a single opening common to three electron beams. Much of the magnetic flux from a scanning velocity modulation coil provided on outer peripheral surface of a neck portion of a funnel crosses this single opening. Thus, the scanning velocity modulation (SVM) sensitivity improves.

  • Patent number: 6614157
Abstract: A cathode-ray tube comprising an electron gun (4) disposed in the neck portion (3) of a funnel (2), a deflection yoke (5) having a horizontal deflection coil (51) and a vertical deflection coil (52) mounted on the outer surface of the funnel (2) in a position closer to the front panel than the electron gun (4), and a speed modulation coil (6) mounted on the outer surface of the neck portion (3). The speed modulation coil (6) is so disposed that the end part thereof on the front panel side is closer to the electron gun (4) than the end part of the horizontal deflection coil (51) facing the electron gun (4) and closer to the front panel side the end part of the electron gun (4) facing the front panel. A desired speed modulation effect can be attained because the speed modulation magnetic field (28) of the speed modulation coil (6) does not interfere with the deflection magnetic field and can be prevented from disappearing by causing by causing an eddy current in a top unit (27).

  • Publication number: 20020073269
Abstract: The memory-stick controller is normally employed in the data-recording apparatus also including an apparatus CPU. First of all, the apparatus CPU issues a BLOCK_READ command to the memory-stick controller and enters a state of waiting for a command-end interrupt to be generated by the memory-stick controller upon completion of execution of the command. The memory-stick controller carries out BLOCK_READ processing on the memory stick in accordance with the BLOCK_READ command. When detecting a processing-end interrupt generated by the memory stick upon completion of execution of the BLOCK_READ processing, the memory-stick controller automatically carries out get-int processing to examine the status of an access to the memory stick. At the end of the get-int processing, the memory-stick controller applies the command-end interrupt to the apparatus CPU.

  • Patent number: 5591100
Abstract: In a vehicle travelling by use of a travelling drive source such as an engine or a motor, the gear shift ratio of a continuously variable transmission B can be changed by increasing or decreasing the width of a groove in a driving pulley 19 of the continuously variable transmission B by a gear shift ratio changing device 61 using a motor 62 as a drive source. The motor 62 is controlled on the basis of output signals from a throttle opening degree sensor, an engine rotational speed sensor and a vehicle speed sensor, thereby enabling an energy-saving travelling suited to an operational condition of the travelling drive source or a travelling condition of the vehicle. The gear shift ratio changing device 61 is supported in a floating manner within a casing 3, 8 for the continuously variable transmission B.

  • Patent number: 5413820
Abstract: A reactive ionized cluster beam deposition method according to this invention is embodied by utilizing two vacuum subregions partitioned by a partition wall formed with an opening. A closed heating crucible and an ionization accelerating unit are disposed in one vacuum subregion partitioned by the partition wall. A substrate is also disposed in the other vacuum subregion, and at the same time a reactive gas is introduced thereinto. Degrees of vacuums in the two vacuum subregions partitioned by the partition wall are equal to or different from each other. Particularly, a gas concentration in the latter vacuum subregion is enhanced. Then, the ionized cluster beams formed in the former vacuum subregion are introduced into the latter vacuum subregion via the opening of the partition wall and react to the reactive gas within the latter vacuum subregion. The ionized cluster beams reacting to the reactive gas impinge on the substrate, thereby forming the deposited film on the substrate surface.
